Mubarak Khawaja, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with training in pulmonary medicine, and has over 30 years of experience in acute and chronic health care management. Dr. Khawaja received his medical degree from Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences in Sindh, Pakistan, in 1987. In 1994, he completed his residency in internal medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, through the Medical College of Pennsylvania, now known as Drexel University College of Medicine, where he also served as chief resident in 1995. He received further training through his fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, also through Allegheny University of Health Sciences (now part of Drexel University College of Medicine) in 1997.
After his training, Dr. Khawaja served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of New Mexico for seven years. He then relocated to Katy, Texas, in 2006. Dr. Khawaja is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital and Methodist West Houston Hospital. Dr. Khawaja completed his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados, in 2012. Dr. Kashani is the President, Founder, and member of several charity organizations in Houston. Tariq Dayah, MD, MPH, FACC is a renowned cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy, and Cypress, Texas.
Dr. Dayah is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiovascular disease, nuclear medicine, and echocardiography. Rajen Mehta, MD, FACC, is a skilled cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston and Katy, Texas.
Born in Winnipeg, Canada, Dr. Mehta grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Memorial High School. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and graduated on the Dean’s List. Dr. Mehta has expertise in cardiology, including the evaluation of common cardiac complaints such as chest pain, shortness of breath, passing out, leg swelling, and palpitations. He has a particular interest in preventive cardiology, including management of high blood pressure and cholesterol disorders, as well as management of the disease after they have developed such circulatory problems of the legs, coronary artery disease, and heart failure. Dr. Mehta places special emphasis on patient education. Dr. Mehta is trained in special cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography and angioplasty, pacemaker insertion, and transesophageal echocardiography. His main research has been in cardiac imaging, and he has several publications on echocardiography.

Adil Asaduddin, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Katy Internists. Dr. Asaduddin provides comprehensive medical care to patients at the Katy Internists medical office in Houston.
Dr. Asaduddin grew up in southwest Houston. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin, then completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
Dr. Asaduddin’s first year of residency in internal medicine took place at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. After finishing his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, he then moved to the northern suburbs of Chicago, where he worked as a hospitalist at the Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals, a part of the Evanston Northwestern health care system. After working in the Aurora, Illinois, area for a few years, during which time he was part of a committee focused on improving electronic medical record systems, Dr. Asaduddin returned to his home city of Houston in 2008 to open Katy Internists.
