Dr. Patricia Colapietro is a board-certified neurologist with extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient neurology, medical education, and integrative health. She recently served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology and Neurology Site Director at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), where she played a key role in residency training, diversity initiatives, and patient care.
Dr. Colapietro completed her Neurology Residency at the University Hospital, Cincinnati, OH, following an Internal Medicine Internship at Jewish Hospital, Cincinnati, OH. Prior to her medical training in the U.S., she pursued postgraduate education in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain & Palliative Care, and Acupuncture in Brazil.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and has been board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2013. Dr. Colapietro has contributed to medical research, published in the fields of neurological rehabilitation, pain management, and integrative medicine, and has presented at national and international conferences.
Beyond her clinical expertise, she has a strong commitment to medical education and community service. She has served as a Mind-Body Skills facilitator at the UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness, has worked as a physician for the NFL BAP/MAF program, and has been a volunteer Spanish medical interpreter.
Dr. Colapietro's dedication to teaching and mentorship has been recognized with the 2021 University of Cincinnati Neurology Faculty Teacher of the Year Award.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, running, yoga, watching sports and movies, and spending time with family and friends. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
Sonal Bhalla, MD, MPH, is a board-certified rheumatologist practicing at Riverhills Neuroscience's Norwood and Anderson locations in Cincinnati, Ohio. With a focus on preventive medicine, Dr. Bhalla holds board certifications in rheumatology and internal medicine and is board-eligible in preventive medicine.
Dr. Bhalla completed her medical education at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Pondicherry, India.
She then went on to complete her internal medicine residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital (St. Raphael Campus) in New Haven, Connecticut, followed by a rheumatology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Additionally, Dr. Bhalla completed a preventive medicine residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Dr. Bhalla holds a Master in Public Health from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice at The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Preventive Medicine.
With her extensive education and experience, Dr. Bhalla provides comprehensive care to patients with rheumatic diseases, offering innovative and individualized treatments that improve the quality of life for those living with chronic illnesses.
