Lester earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rush University in Chicago. Jocelin Gamez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.

Jocelin earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate years, she simultaneously worked as a certified pharmacy technician and certified emergency medical technician. She then earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!). Her interests include women’s health, providing healthcare to Spanish-speaking populations, and preventative medicine.

Jocelin loves that every day is different and that she gets to meet and build relationships with all kinds of people. She loves the continuity of her education through the ever-changing medical advances. She also enjoys being able to teach her patients while also learning from them.

Dr. Barrett attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree, studying biochemistry. He earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. 

Dr. Barrett’s treatment philosophy is one of empowering the patient: “Patients have the right to be heard and to partner with me to create a treatment plan appropriate for their individual needs and situation”.  His clinical interests are primary care, preventative medicine and LGBT health.

I am board certified in Internal Medicine, completed both her medical school and residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Morayo Adisa is double board-certified as a dermatologist and dermatopathologist. She has a commitment to providing highly personalized care for all her patients. Her areas of interest include medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology for all ages and skin types.

 

Dr. Adisa obtained a BA in Microbiology from Southern Illinois University and her medical degree from University of Illinois, where she was a James Scholar. Melissa Grosvenor, PhD, M.S. CCC-SLP, I/ECMH-C, BCS-CL, is a board-certified child language specialist, credentialed infant mental health specialist, and owner of Express Yourself Pediatric Therapy, with locations in Palatine, Illinois, Bucktown, Chicago and Kensington, Maryland. She is highly qualified and a leader in her field.

Dr. Grosvenor completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, and her doctorate in infant and early childhood development at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, California. 

Dr. Grosvenor is also a credentialed DIRFloortime® provider. She has more than 10 years of experience teaching courses through the International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL), Profectum, and the Erikson Institute.

Ilja Faibussowitsch, M.D., is a pulmonologist, specializing in critical care and sleep problems. He is currently a diplomat of the American Boards of Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Internal Medicine. Fluent in Fluent in Russian, German, and English, Dr. Faibussowitsch enjoys traveling when he is not seeing patients. Mukesh Ahluwalia, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist/intensivist and sleep medicine specialist. Since 1999, he’s been treating patients at Respiratory, Critical Care, and Sleep Specialists, which has three offices conveniently located in Des Plaines, Oak Park, and Chicago’s Portage Park in Illinois. 

Dr. Ahluwalia earned his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. He stayed in New Delhi for his internship, which he completed at the Safdarjung Hospital, but then relocated to Chicago for his internal medicine residency, which he completed at Grant Hospital of Chicago and Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital, now known as Rush University Medical Center. Before finishing, his program awarded him with a certificate of outstanding teaching to the house staff of medical students.

Dr. Ahluwalia finished his post-graduate training in New York, with a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn and a fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital. 

Dr. Ahluwalia is highly skilled in his specialties, and he maintains board-certification in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He’s a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and his work has been published in the Journal of Bronchology.
