Dr. Nijah Burris is from Union City, GA, and the oldest of four siblings. Growing up outside the city, she fondly remembers tubing at Lake Lanier, playing volleyball, and spending time with her cousins. Originally, she matriculated at Spelman College to pursue biomedical research, but family tragedies shifted her pursuits to medicine. Dr. Burris graduated from medical school and completed her family medicine residency at Morehouse School of Medicine. During her journey, she has served as chief resident, performed community-based research on the association between anxiety and epilepsy in African American participants, promoted awareness of psychosocial barriers amongst North African and Middle Easterners in medicine, and volunteered at the HEAL Clinic serving the underserved communities.

Dr. Burris’ areas of interest include preventive medicine, health equity, and community outreach. Lastly in her free time, she enjoys traveling, DIY projects, trying different cultural foods, true crime podcasts, visiting any beach, and hanging out with family and friends. Binh Grace Nguyen, MD, joined Reagan Medical Center as a physician in December 2019, bringing a wealth of expertise and compassion to the team. The practice has locations in Lawrenceville, Dacula, Suwanee, and Johns Creek, Georgia.

Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency training in internal medicine at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Navicent Health.

With a focus on both inpatient and outpatient care, Dr. Nguyen has served in various roles, including inpatient hospital medicine at Piedmont Hospitals and part-time outpatient care in a Duluth primary care practice. Himanshi Chopra, MD, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician who holds special interest in preventative medicine, dermatology, women’s health, and outpatient procedures. She is trained in Nexplanon and IUD insertions, Botox ® for migraine injections, and neurotoxin and filler cosmetic injections. Dr. Chopra attended Purdue University for undergraduate education. She went on to earn her medical degree from International Medical University in St. Lucia. She completed and excelled in her Family Medicine Residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Michigan, where she was the Chief Resident of her program.
