My nursing career has spanned over 45 years. I have worked in a multitude of practice settings. The last 17 years have been spent specializing in Internal Medicine, Hospital acute care, Primary care and Mental health. Having vast experience has allowed me the ability to recognize the importance of alternative holistic treatment in addition to augmenting these treatments with traditional medicine in an effort to improve quality of life. I strive to treat each patient as individuals, devoting the time and education needed to make an informed decision, while together designing a treatment plan to address my patient's specific needs. My goal is to establish an open, trusting and long-standing relationship with every individual patient. It is my honor and a gift to be able to care for others.
Dr. Nocera attended Columbia University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and graduated with magna cum laude. She then obtained her medical degree at University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. She then completed internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Nocera’s interests broadened to the field of addition medicine, having seen the toll that opioid use disorder can take in individuals and families. She is dedicated in helping people with opioid use disorder regain control and thrive in their lives. In addition, she also specializes in symptom management with the benefit of medical cannabis. She is known for her dedication, compassion, and attention to detail. Her goals are to reach everyone in the community from a unique clinical perspective and to customize care to meet individual needs.
