Dr. Scott A. Fulton is a Board-Certified and Fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist at The Gastroenterology Group in Akron, Ohio. Serving as the President of the practice, he shares his passion for providing health care to patients looking to relieve digestive system issues.

Dr. Fulton received his Bachelor of Science in microbiology and chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, in Amherst, Massachusetts. Shortly after this, he pursued his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California in San Diego, California. 

He continued his Internal Medicine Residency at MetroHealth Medical Center through Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as the Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. Before joining The Gastroenterology Group, she was an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Director of Endoscopy at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She also served as the Associate Program Director for the Gastroenterology Fellowship program. She was previous Medical Director of the Digestive Health Institute at University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio.
