Dr. Memon then relocated to the United States to complete his internship in internal medicine at State University of New York (SUNY) Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York.
He then completed his residency in internal medicine and neurology at Wayne State University-Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Memon went on to do his fellowship training in gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital (now Henry Ford Health System) in Detroit.
Dr. Memon is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).
He’s also a professional member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American College of Physicians (ACP), and the Texas Medical Association (TMA).
Dr. Memon is fluent in English and Urdu. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and socializing with friends.

After earning his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Memon remained in the city to serve as the house officer in medicine and general surgery at Civil Hospital Karachi.
