Ashley Perenich is a highly skilled Physician Assistant at the Spine Institute of Florida, where she works closely with Dr. Nicholas Perenich and the rest of the surgical team to provide exceptional care to patients. Ashley earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from University of South Florida’s Morsani College of Medicine and has since specialized in orthopedics and spine surgery.
As a Physician Assistant, Ashley is responsible for performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting in surgical procedures. She is passionate about helping patients understand their condition and treatment options, and works closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
Ashley is a member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in her field through continuing education and attending conferences and seminars.

Sameer Patel is a board certified physician assistant and a native to Orlando, Florida. Sameer attended Florida State University (FSU) for his Bachelor's in Psychology and attended University of Central Florida (UCF) for his bachelor's in Biology. Following graduation he attended Nova Southeastern University-Orlando for his MMSc in Physician assistant studies and graduated with highest honors. Sameer's whole family is involved in different specialties of medicine and taking care of other people.
With a strong focus on building long-term relationships, Sameer strives to support individuals and families in achieving their healthiest, happiest lives. Whether managing chronic conditions or guiding preventive care, Sameer is committed to treating patients with kindness, respect, and understanding. Outside the office, Sameer is passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and wrestling, which not only keeps him active but also reinforces the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
Janelle Bauer is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at New Tampa Interventional Pain and Sport Medicine. Janelle completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialty from the University of South Florida and is dual certified by both the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. However, her healthcare journey began as a certified nursing assistant directly out of high school. Her family instilled in her the importance of a strong work ethic. She worked throughout college to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida. As a registered nurse, she specialized in the surgical intensive care unit at Lakeland Regional Health. She began working at New Tampa Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine in 2021. In her free time, Janelle enjoys painting, gardening, and getting outdoors with her family. She has 2 young sons who are active in soccer and baseball.

I began my journey in healthcare by earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rockhurst University and then a Master's Degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with a Specialization in Family Medicine from Nova Southeastern University. Over the years, I have worked with diverse populations, addressed complex health concerns, and fostered long-term wellness through a whole-person approach.
