Dr. Black subsequently completed her residency training in dermatology at the University of Southern California, where she was elected to serve as Chief Resident of the program. Here she received extensive and in-depth training in all aspects of medical, surgical, cosmetic, and pediatric dermatology. After residency, she went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in dermatopathology under the direction of Loren Golitz, MD, at the University of Colorado Denver. This extra training has allowed her to develop special expertise in the microscopic diagnosis of skin cancer and skin disease.
Dr. Black has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and JAMA Dermatology. Her research generally focuses on skin cancer prevention and melanoma detection, and it has been frequently cited in the popular press, such as NPR, BBC News, Forbes, Huffington Post, and Medscape. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Society of Dermatopathology. She is also on the medical staff at Huntington Hospital.

Julia is an AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner, fluent in English and Spanish who was awarded an ADN scholarship from the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. She received her associate degree in nursing from Antelope Valley College and both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield.
Julia’s scope of practice is focused on Family Practice, Acute and Chronic Care and her medical background includes over 20 years of experience in various fields of nursing including acute care facilities, assisting in cardiology, the emergency department, respiratory care, senior care facilities, medical surgical, stroke and telemetry units.
Julia’s life-long passion and desire has been to help in the community, providing compassionate care to patients while simultaneously educating her patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Bruce J. Sand, MD, FACS, is a board certified ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgeon. He is the medical director of Good to Great: Medical Cosmetic Solutions in Westlake Village, California. Dr. Sand is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Bader Iqbal, MD, has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. Following graduation from Rush Medical College, he completed a family medicine residency at UCLA, in Santa Monica, where he was elected chief resident. In 1992, Dr. Iqbal founded Agoura Family Practice, which has since become AFP Associates. Dr. Iqbal is Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Academy of Family Practice.
Dr. Iqbal believes that patients who are empowered with knowledge through education can take charge of their health and self-manage many chronic illnesses. Dr. Ladouceur has more than 15 years of clinical experience in both acute and ambulatory settings. He received a B.A. degree in Biochemistry at New York University, and received his M.D. from Columbia University. After medical school he moved to Los Angeles and trained at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in Neurosurgery. He has advanced training in aesthetic medicine with a special interest in neuromodulators (BOTOX, DYSPORT) and dermal fillers.
