Mohamed Sheta, MD, FASN, FASDIN, is an award-winning nephrologist at Houston Kidney Specialists Center (HKSC), which has multiple locations in Houston and Cypress, Texas.He strives to reach more of the community as one of the few nephrologists nationwide specializing in minimally invasive surgical procedures. Annie is originally from the Houston area and attended high school at St. Agnes Academy. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Nutrition in Business. She obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UTMB in 2019. 

Before completing her graduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working as a clinical care coordinator in hepatology at the Houston Medical Center.

During this time, she discovered a passion for clinical care, which compelled her to pursue a career in medicine. She previously practiced in obstetrics and gynecology before moving into dermatology, a field of special interest to her.
