I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist with 20 years of experience in patient care, 17 of those caring for critical ill pediatric patients. Born in Sacramento, CA into a family of 7 siblings whose hard working parents emigrated from Mexico in 1940, Dr B learned the importance of doing well in school and later graduated from UC Berkeley, then UC San Francisco Medical School in 1982. He completed a 3 year Family Practice Residency at Group Health in Seattle, then became a Commissioned Officer in the US Public Health Service for 4 years. Having practiced in the Pacific Northwest for the last 40 years, he has developed a passion for helping patients improve through a healthy diet and exercise. He is also Board Certified in Obesity Medicine to offer additional care in this regard. Hobbies include a love for travel (especially to Scandinavia--he was a summer exchange student to Finland with AFS in 1972). He also enjoys swimming, jogging, hiking, listening to Classical Music, and cooking Mexican food from scratch. His wife, Monica, is an amazing cook. 2 of his 3 children are doctors
Rhonna Lee has been a registered nurse in rural, military, metropolitan and city settings for over 45 years. This experience includes: Open Heart/heart transplant surgery, orthopedic/general surgery, acute care and medical/surgical floor nursing. She has practiced in Germany, and over 6 states being a retired Army wife. She gave 8 part-time years to the VA for Disability Physicals of Veterans .
She moved to Spokane in 1993, direct from Germany, choosing Spokane as their final move and retirement home. She grew up in a small rural Washington town.
Ms Lee received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Clark College, her Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Maryland. She completed her Master's degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner at Gonzaga University . She has been in Family practice since 2000.
