Dr. Tosini is dually board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Tosini earned his BS in Biology, cum laude, at the University of Georgia. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. He also completed additional training at the University of Oviedo (ES) in Disaster Management.
He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at Ventura County Medical Center; subsequently also completing fellowship programs in Global Health and Addiction Medicine.
Tommaso Tosini, MD, MSc
Tommaso Tosini was born in Florence, Italy. Though mostly raised underneath the shade of Virginia magnolias and Georgia pines, he is enjoying his time in sunny California.
Since completing his clinical training, Dr. Tosini has worked as a Hospitalist and Clinical Faculty at Ventura County Medical Center/Santa Paula Hospital and as an Urgentologist with Kaiser Permanente. Now he is the sole physician at Coastal Addiction’s office in Santa Barbara, California.
Courtney has been a registered nurse for over 12 years, primarily in the Emergency Department of a large community hospital. For over two years, she worked as a certified Mobile Intensive Care Nurse for the county of Los Angeles. Courtney completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she then continued on to receive her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is board certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
During her OBGYN clinical rotations, Courtney developed a passion and commitment for women’s health. “Women have a unique set of health care challenges. My goal is to help women meet health care needs throughout their lifespan and teach them about maintaining a balance for optimal health.” Courtney continues to add to her education in women’s health so that she is able to provide current, “up to date,” care to her patients. Courtney is married to a firefighter and has a son, stepdaughter, and two dogs. In her spare time she loves to golf and improve human health and well-being by volunteering with her therapy dog, Tiller. They are certified through the Pet Partners Therapy Program. She is excited to grow and learn with the amazing practitioners here at Women’s Health Group of Ventura.

Preston Arndt, MD, is a skilled primary care physician, integrative medicine specialist, and founder of Preston Arndt, MD Medical Clinic in Ojai, California.
Dr. Arndt graduated from the Ventura County Family Medicine Residency Program in 2003. His dream was to open his own clinic and provide an calm and creative environment for the patient to explore all options to obtaining optimal health. He enjoys teaching patients on the contibuing factors that cause disease and how to modify the factors, taking into account the patient's individiual values and goals. Dr. Arndt is board certified in family medicine and integrative medicine, giving him knowledge of both allopathic and complementary medicine, which allows for patient-centered, evidence-based, informed, and shared decision-making.
Additionally, he has assisted in the transition of pediatric to adult care for individuals with special needs. This led to his interest in cystic fibrosis care and management. He is currently the associate-director of the cystic fibrosis clinic in Ventura and is an advocate for those who have need of services with chronic life-long conditions.
Another specialty that Dr. Arndt is an expert in is cannabinoid medicine. He enjoys educating physicians and patients on the topic. He is trained by the Holistic Cannabis Academy and is a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians.
Lastly, Dr. Arndt also is an attending physician and educator and enjoys teaching residents and students. He welcomes his previous patients to visit him and looks forward to meeting new patients and families in the community.
