Julia is an AANP certified Family Nurse Practitioner, fluent in English and Spanish who was awarded an ADN scholarship from the National Association of Hispanic Nurses. She received her associate degree in nursing from Antelope Valley College and both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from California State University, Bakersfield.
Julia’s scope of practice is focused on Family Practice, Acute and Chronic Care and her medical background includes over 20 years of experience in various fields of nursing including acute care facilities, assisting in cardiology, the emergency department, respiratory care, senior care facilities, medical surgical, stroke and telemetry units.
Julia’s life-long passion and desire has been to help in the community, providing compassionate care to patients while simultaneously educating her patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She brings with her a wealth of experience and quality evidence-based care and considers it a privilege to be able to channel her passion for nursing through her work as a Family Nurse Practitioner as well as serving in the community and church, helping those who are less fortunate.
Dr. Ricardo La Grotta, MD is a primary care physician. He serves patients at HealthyU Clinics at our Chandler, Arizona clinic.
With over two decades of medical experience, Dr. La Grotta brings his passion and commitment to HealthyU Clinics. Having spent his formative years in diverse regions such as South America, the Caribbean, and the Pacific Northwest, Dr. La Grotta has cultivated a unique perspective. His focus on Primary Care and Urgent Care stems from a seamless blend of practical experience and scientific knowledge.
Although his family has been in the Pacific Northwest for four decades, Dr. La Grotta eagerly embraces Arizona as his new home. He looks forward to immersing himself in the beauty of the state, connecting with its vibrant communities, and indulging in the rich gastronomy that Arizona has to offer.
DaSol "Amy" Hwang, FNP-C, MSN, RN, MAT, is a compassionate and dedicated board-certified family nurse practitioner at the Centers of Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine (CRPM) in Placentia, California.
Amy began her undergraduate studies at Vanguard University of Southern California in Costa Mesa, California. She then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Longy School of Music of Bard College in June 2016. In May 2020, Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She then completed her family nurse practitioner certificate from California State University, Los Angeles, in May 2022.
In an effort to provide the most outstanding care possible to her patients, Amy maintains affiliations with several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Sigma Theta Tau International Society of Nursing, the Oncology Nursing Society, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care Management.
Throughout her career Amy has worked in a variety of healthcare practices, including urgent care, pain management, and family medicine settings. Regardless of where she finds herself, Amy's mission is always to provide high-quality, evidence-based care that her patients can trust.
