Dr. Ebere Israel Azubuike, MD ("Dr. Izzy"), is a family doctor serving patients of all ages at Mercy Family Clinic in Dallas, Texas. He has about 15 years of experience, and he specializes in primary care and family medicine. 

Dr. Izzy Azubuike graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston, Texas, in 2005. He completed his residency at the Methodist Health System Dallas, Texas, in 2008.

After finishing his formal education, Dr. Azubuike started initially as a hospitalist, seeing patients at various hospitals in Dallas area. Robert A. Bauer Jr., MSN, APRN, FNP-C joins BBC Health from Montrose, Michigan where he enjoyed spending his childhood. Fueled by a desire to serve others, Robert attended Michigan State University where he earned his Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. Following graduation, Robert accepted a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. His first duty station was in Minot, North Dakota where he served in a variety of humanitarian missions and obtained the rank of First Lieutenant. Upon achieving selection for training, Robert earned his Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. From there, he was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas where he served for many years. As a part of the 52^nd Airlift Squadron, his duties were varied with a focus on Aerospace Medicine. Through hard work and commitment, Robert proceeded to obtain the rank of Captain and served with distinction until December 2002.

After serving his country, Robert began working as a Primary Care Provider in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, Physical Medicine, Urgent Care, and Alternative Medicine facilities. With over two decades of experience, Robert enjoys serving patients of all ages with family and physical medicine solutions. Our provider is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 from Adelphi University, New York. She began her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). After graduating in 1998 from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, I practiced primary and emergency medical care for 8 years. Then I specialized in Otolaryngology and gained the experience from both Cuba and Paraguay for 7 years. Upon arriving in the United States later that year, I began studying nursing with the purpose of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Then I served as the Allergy Nurse Manager at ENT clinic for nearly two years.
