Jennifer Thompson is the owner and Nurse Practitioner associated with Advanced Practice. She is a graduate of George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, where she received her Masters in the Science of Nursing. Jennifer is board certified and is licensed in North Carolina and autonomously in Virginia & Florida. Jennifer pursued her career interest in Emergency Medicine and has practiced full time since 2005, affiliated with multiple hospital sites. Jennifer also has worked in the areas of Primary Care and Correctional Medicine along her journey. Jennifer founded Advanced Practice in response to the growing needs for healthcare amongst the surrounding communities. In the midst of increasing patient demand and fewer providers, advanced practitioners have started stepping up to meet demands all over the country. She considers her career a blessing and is grateful that she has this opportunity to make a difference.

Taseen Mir, MD, is a family medicine physician at Prosperity Internal Medicine in Reston, Virginia. Dr. Mir is passionate about helping you and your loved ones stay healthy at all times, and partners with you to find the best care plans. 

Dr. Mir obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan. She then went on to complete her medical education at St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Cambridge, England. After obtaining her doctorate in medicine, she pursued residency training in family medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. 

During her time as a physician, she was awarded the “Claire Knighten-Ward Award” for her humanism and excellence. She was also honored by Northern Virginia Magazine and the Washingtonian with a “Top Doctors Award.” 

At Prosperity Internal Medicine, Dr. Mir specializes in general practice, as well as allergy treatment and women’s health. She has been practicing family medicine for over fifteen years, and is committed to excellent health outcomes.

Elizabeth York, PA-C, is an experienced physician assistant at Fairfax Colon & Rectal Surgery, PC.

Growing up as a high school science teacher’s daughter, Elizabeth always gravitated toward studying medicine. She received her bachelor’s in science from Boston College in Boston, Massachusetts, before beginning her career managing clinical research trials.

After spending several years in the research sector, Elizabeth realized she wanted to work directly with patients. She earned her physician assistant degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Elizabeth’s interest in colorectal surgery grew during her general surgery training, and she ultimately completed formal training.

Elizabeth is proud to serve patients struggling with anal pain, hemorrhoids, colon cancer, and other colorectal ailments at Fairfax Colon & Rectal Surgery, PC. She truly enjoys taking an active role in her patients’ health care management and well-being.

In her spare time, Elizabeth loves spending time with her husband, Chris, and their daughter. The family especially enjoys exploring the culture and diversity Washington, D.C., has to offer.

Deepali Patel, FNP-BC, is a family medicine nurse practitioner at Washington Internal Medicine in Virginia. Deepali completed a Diploma in Nursing in 2004 at Helene Fuld School of Nursing in New Jersey and has been an RN since 2004. She completed Bachelors in Public Health in 2021 at the American Public University System in Virginia. Deepali brings over 15 years of clinical experience in diverse settings, offering excellent patient assessment skills and a dedication to providing holistic, high-quality care as a registered nurse with multiple positions. Deepali Patel went on to complete Masters of Science in Family Nurse Practice (2021) from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky.

She is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in Virginia and Board-Certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Deepali is dedicated to assisting all patients with acute and long-term chronic diseases and improving overall well-being through treatment and optimal life choices. She has proven skills in helping high risk patients, highly trained in completing clinical assessments and diligent in evaluating medical records and coordinating care plans. Her goal is high quality care and improve patient health and health outcomes. She is compassionate and harbors strong communication and interpersonal skills with in-depth understanding of chronic care management. She is passionate in building long term relationships with patients centered on trust, compassion and professionalism.

David Schoenfish is a physician assistant Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). David is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and he is currently licensed to practice by the Virginia Board ofMedicine and the Maryland Board of Physicians.

David graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, SD, during which he was also a member of the USF men’s cross country and track and field teams. He then received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE. During his physician assistant education, David gained experience in assessing and treating various neurologic conditions including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, polytrauma, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, migraine, and multiple sclerosis in inpatient and outpatient settings while rotating with the UNMC Neurological Sciences department and at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Omaha, NE. He has previous clinical experience working as a patient care technician in the neurology unit at Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Outside of practicing medicine, David enjoys running, cycling, music, following the Minnesota Twins, and spending time with friends and family.

Harleen Bath is a Physician Assistant, Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is currently licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and District of Columbia.  Harleen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Virginia and with a Master's of Science from Georgetown University.  She worked as Neurosciences Clinical Research Coordinator at Inova Fairfax Hospital where she was involved in numerous clinical trials investigating neurological conditions.  She returned to school to graduate with a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University.  She joins Integrated Neurology Services after working as a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant at George Washington University Hospital and Medical Faculty Associates.    

Outside the practice, Harleen is a native of Northern Virginia and loves to travel and spend time with her husband, family, and friends. ​

Nisha Patel is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been specializing in anti-aging medicine since 2015. Her previous experience as a medical provider includes the family medicine, primary care, and urgent care settings. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN and Master’s of Science degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She is board-certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Rohit Suri is a board-certified obesity medicine specialist at Nova Physician Wellness Center. Serving patients in Fairfax, Arlington, Tysons Corner, Sterling, and Lansdowne/Ashburn, Virginia, he is dedicated to providing individuals with care to ensure their future health, using both cutting-edge medical research and more traditional, conventional methods.

As an expert in weight loss, he helps men and women navigate the challenges associated with nutrition, exercise, behavioral change, and more.

Melissa Falkowski attended Mount Saint Mary College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Melissa has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field, including Oncology, Preoperative, and Postoperative care, and Operating Room experience. After working for 2 years in the Operating Room with Dr. Desai, Melissa joined the team at International Spine, Pain & Performance Center in 2017. As Chief Operating Officer, Melissa is focused on ensuring all clinical standards are met to guarantee that our patients receive optimal and cutting edge care. Melissa partners with the clinicians at ISPPC to execute our mission statement of being leaders in clinical excellence. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys traveling the world with her husband and daughter, and spending time with their family and friends.
