MEET OUR PROVIDER - DR. “RICH” RAWSON
Richard Rawson, DO, is a board-certified Osteopathic Physician. Surgeon and a concierge primary care physician who sees patients at Temecula Medical Group in Temecula, California. Dr. Rawson is a native of Southern California. He grew up in Mission Viejo, graduating from Mission Viejo High School. Dr. Rawson attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology. He received his medical degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa.
Dr. Rawson completed his residency training at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington — part of the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Network. The University of Washington School of Medicine has been identified as the nation’s top primary-care school in each of the last 18 years by US News & World Report and the top medical school in the country in family medicine and rural medicine training for the past 20 years.
Dr. Rawson was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012-2013, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom as the Squadron Surgeon for the 1st Squadron of the 4th Cavalry Regiment of the US Army. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and Temecula Medical Group is one of the first direct care practices in the nation. He speaks both English and Spanish.

MEET OUR PROVIDER - RYAN ROWAN
Ryan D. Rowan, PA-C, is a skilled Board Certified Physician Associate specializing in primary care. At Temecula Medical Group in Temecula, California, he takes pleasure in connecting with patients, learning about their lives, and helping them achieve their health goals. He enjoys working with people from all walks of life, especially those of different cultures.
Ryan was born and raised in Dana Point and Mission Viejo, California. After earning his BA from Brigham Young University, he worked as a medical interpreter for Spanish-speaking patients and loved what he saw. He observed many clinicians and nurses compassionately caring for their patients and found such purpose in their daily efforts and satisfaction in their conversations.
Ryan then completed Drexel University’s Hahnemann Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Health Science in 2007. He scored in the 95% on the National Board Exam. Aside from all primary care skills and duties, Ryan is trained in Osteopathic Manipulation Technique of the spine.
Ryan has provided health care to underserved populations in two different Federally Qualified Health Centers. He spent a year and a half in Central California and five years in Idaho, four of which he served as lead clinician for a rural health clinic. Currently, Ryan is participating in a pilot test program to improve the recertification process for all Physician Assistants in the US by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants.
He has been described as a true caregiver; his patients often leave appointments feeling lifted. In addition to English, Ryan also speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese.

Board Certified family nurse practitioner Armanda L. Alvarez, FNP-C, known to her patients as “Mandie,” is a compassionate primary care provider who takes pride in helping people truly feel better. At Temecula Medical Group in Temecula, California, she forms close, lasting relationships with her patients, acting as their provider for life.
Mandie is a California native, having grown up in Norwalk. In 2010, she began her nursing career as an LVN pediatric home health nurse. Shortly thereafter, she started on her path into Registered Nursing, completing her Bachelors of Science at West Coast University in 2014.
Her RN career began as an Emergency Room Nurse. While she loves the ever-changing emergency room, she knew that primary care is where she would have more time to assist her clients maneuvering illnesses and hopes to provide care aimed at decreasing the need for ER visits.
Having graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2020 with her FNP, she is focused on using the knowledge she has gained and her experiences in nursing to provide optimal patient care. Mandie is fluent in Spanish and English.

DaSol "Amy" Hwang, FNP-C, MSN, RN, MAT, is a compassionate and dedicated board-certified family nurse practitioner at the Centers of Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine (CRPM) in Placentia, California.
Amy began her undergraduate studies at Vanguard University of Southern California in Costa Mesa, California. She then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Longy School of Music of Bard College in June 2016.
