Ana Rosa (Robles) Celaya is part of a migrant family from the state of Jalisco Mexico and worked as a farm laborer since she was 13 years old. while simultaneously going to school to learn a new culture and a different language. It was the hard work and the environment she experienced during her work at the Californian fields that motivated her to pursue a career as a physician in her home country.
In 1986 she arrived in California, but this time well trained as a Medical Doctor, along with her husband Mario Celaya. However, valuing the importance of education and dedication, she put her profession on hold to dedicate herself to homeschooling her three children until they all went to high school. It wasn’t until then that she returned to school and focused on her education, graduating as a Physician Assistant a couple of years later.
Ana Rosa is foreign trained physician assistant with great charisma and sympathy for her patients, especially children. Throughout these years she has become a role model inspiring many young and adult females to pursue a higher standard in all aspects of their lives.
