Hi, my name is Piettra Alves. I am originally from Brazil however, I have lived in the United States for 23 years. He completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Armstrong was then accepted into the charter class at the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida.
After receiving his medical degree, he became an intern and resident in the OB/GYN department at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, serving as chief resident from 1977-1978.
