Heather C Kennedy, PA-C, is the primary healthcare provider at Refine Medical. Through her work at the practice, Heather enjoys assisting patients in furthering their health and wellness goals and welcomes residents from in and around Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Education has always been a central force in Heather’s life. She completed her medical studies at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, earning a Master of Physician Associate Studies degree. Heather continues to seek out opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge. Most recently, she earned her functional medicine certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
Heather has experience in plastic surgery and orthopedics but focuses on primary care, emergency medicine, and urgent care. That breadth of experience makes her an outstanding resource for all types of health needs. As a person who lives with type 1 diabetes, she understands how important chronic disease management is in creating healthy and happy lives.
The ability to spend time getting to know those in her care is a big part of why Heather chose to shape her professional life around a direct primary care model. This method of practice allows her to create highly customized plans for patients instead of simply working to manage symptoms in a high-volume practice setting.
When not in the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons. She loves exercising to stay healthy and energized and tries to make time for travel whenever possible.

As a Certified Nurse Practitioner, her focus has been providing individualized care across the lifespan in Emergency Medicine. She has spent the past 13 years working in the emergency room. It has been her passion until she found her love of wellness and aesthetic medicine.
In the fall of 2020, Tracye began training in preventative wellness and medical aesthetics while developing her practice as a part time endeavor until her dream of Reclaim Wellness became a reality.
Tracye is now in the clinic fulltime working side by side with her husband Mike, who is also a nurse, serving their patients every day.
I was a nurse for 15 years and went back to school to become a nurse practitioner because I wanted to make a difference. In my office, it's a priority that patients feel heard and cared for. I never want someone to leave my office thinking, "she's just like every other provider I have seen, and she didn't listen to a single word I said." I want patients to know that I care for them the same way I want someone to take care of my child. Patient care should be personalized and not a one size fits all.
