Her sunny demeanor is rooted in California, where she earned her PA Master's degree from USC Keck School of Medicine and Bachelor’s degree from UCLA. She also completed specialized neurosurgical training at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and previously worked at nonprofit Swedish Neurosurgical Institute. She is coauthor of a dozen articles and two book chapters regarding nuclear medicine neuroimaging research in brain cancer, breast cancer, neurological disorders, and endocrine disorders. In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading, aerial arts, and hiking with her dog.
Brooke Balliett, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist (52456) at the California Center for Psychedelic Therapy located in Hollywood, California. Her life's work is dedicated to stewarding psychological, spiritual & relationship health through self-awareness, emotional intelligence & recognition of the unique drive towards authenticity held within each of us.
From a framework integrating trauma, developmental & transpersonal psychology, Brooke provides, trains, and mentors multiple psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies, including MDMA-assisted therapy, psilocybin therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Additionally, she was a leader in psychedelic risk reduction services with the Zendo Project & Kosmicare as they pioneered psychedelic emergency care, drug education and peer support worldwide. She is a student of the world and honored to say she has worked in service of psychedelic wellness on 4 continents and counting.
After over a decade of clinical service provision and program development in publicly funded community mental health centers across central Los Angeles, she co-founded the California Center for Psychedelic Therapy as her offering to those seeking mental health within a limited system of accessible, effective care & as a commitment to furthering access to cutting-edge psychedelic treatments to heal individuals and the communities surrounding them.
