She is a reputed alumna of Michigan State University, where she received her medical training and her bachelor’s degree. She completed a residency in family medicine at West Suburban Medical Center and advanced her clinical abilities in primary care sports medicine with a fellowship from MacNeal Hospital.

Dr. Barrett attended Virginia Tech for his undergraduate degree, studying biochemistry. He earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Earning her medical degree from the University of Munich, Dr. Lengyel pursued further training in obstetrics and gynecology while in Germany before moving to the United States to work as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of California San Francisco. After publishing multiple articles and book chapters, Dr. Lengyel returned to clinical medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at West Suburban Medical Center.
Her treatment philosophy is to appreciate that every patient is different and in turn, to provide them with the deserved individual attention and treatment. In the United States, she taught Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, and Ecology at Somerset Community College in Somerset, KY. She has also held roles as an Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine physician, a Family Medicine physician, and a Medical Director for a Medspa. She also worked at both the Chicago Sports Medicine Institute and Chicago Medical Center Urgent Care.

Jocelin Gamez, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Jocelin earned her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During her undergraduate years, she simultaneously worked as a certified pharmacy technician and certified emergency medical technician. She then earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies at the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!). Her interests include women’s health, providing healthcare to Spanish-speaking populations, and preventative medicine.
