Eric Blake, ND, Dipl. Ac., is an expert naturopathic physician and the medical director of Portland Clinic of Holistic Health, providing care in Downtown Portland, Oregon. Dr. Blake treats all ages, and patients with a variety of conditions can benefit from his holistic, cutting-edge treatments such as Bio-Thermal Therapy®. 

Dr. Blake received his Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He presented his undergraduate work on cross-cultural medicine and religion in Cairo, Egypt at an International Conference in 1992. Upon graduating, he was an herbalist in Cincinnati as well as working alongside an experienced Japanese acupuncturist in New York City. Dr. Blake went on to complete his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM). His special area of research was interviewing and training with long practicing expert Naturopathic Physicians, some of who had been practicing since the 1930s.  He was trained in many rare and hard to find clinical treatments and procedures. He also completed a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where he did his thesis on classical Chinese and naturopathic medicine. 

Dr. Blake is a certified massage therapist, certified exercise trainer, and he is a certified Diplomate in Acupuncture (DAc) by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is a member of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Blake is a three-time recipient of the Benedict Lust Award from NUNM, recognizing his community leadership in naturopathy. 

Dr. Blake has spoken at congresses around the world in Paris, France, London, England, Barcelona, Spain, Czech Republic, and at state and national conferences across the United States,  on naturopathic treatment of cancer, digestive diseases, diabetes and the use of naturopathic physiotherapy. He has been published on multiple occasions in physiotherapy teaching textbooks for physicians, professional textbooks, and is the co-editor and contributing author of Naturopathic Physical Medicine (2008). He was a contributing author to the clinical textbook Fibromyalgia Syndrome a Practitioners Guide to Treatment (2009) and Chronic Pelvic Pain and Dysfunction (2012). 

Since 2006, Dr. Blake has served as the chief attending physician and medical director of the Outpatient Naturopathic Medical Clinic at the Portland Clinic of Holistic Health. He is also part of the adjunct academic faculty at NUNM as a supervisor of resident physicians and teaching the history of American naturopathic professions.

Dr. Blake is always furthering his education and continues to research naturopathic physiotherapy and its various benefits across multiple conditions.

I have been a board-certified Physician Assistant with Lake Grove Family Practice for over 7 years now and I have loved watching the practice grow into what it has become and what the future holds. I have 19 years of experience in family medicine. I received my degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University which is where I found that I liked treating all aspects of the patient’s health to be the most rewarding and being part of family practice, and with that, I can focus on the entire patient. I enjoy empowering patients through education and emphasizing preventive care. I have many interests that include diabetes management, women’s health, adolescent, and teen issues, and making sure their voices are heard. I received my medical degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa. Afterward, I completed an internship and residency at Des Moines General Hospital. As a specialist in family medicine, I believe in the whole-patient approach to integrative medicine. Each patient is a different individual with specific needs. In all my time in medicine, I have learned that the art of medicine is understanding that individual symptoms may be similar, but each person is different.

Along with being a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Senior Aviation Medical Examiner, I am trained to provide flight physicals and evaluations for the FAA. As a pilot myself, I enjoy working with other airmen. I have been a licensed pilot since 1974. HIMS is an occupational substance abuse treatment program specific to pilots.

When I am not spending time with patients and the office, you can find me raising my granddaughter with my wife, Debbie. In addition to raising three children, I spend my free time enjoying photography, white water rafting, scuba diving, and of course flying.

I received my medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and I completed my residency in family medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) affiliated BON Secours St. Francis Family Medicine Residency program.

My specialties include full spectrum family medicine and have had previous experience managing low- risk prenatal care. Amy Meoli, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary disease doctor at Own Sleep Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, and Vancouver, Washington.

Dr. Meoli completed her bachelor’s and medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. She then completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Truman Medical Center-West in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Okuns earned his medical degree in 2005 at the University of the West Indies in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago. In 2006, he completed his rotating medical internship at Port of Spain General Hospital, located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. 

After finishing his residency, Dr. Okuns worked at Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in San Juan, Trinidad and Tobago, as a medical house officer for the emergency department.

In 2007, Dr. Okun moved to Tallahassee, Florida, where he completed a family medicine externship and served as a family medicine resident at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Danielle completed her physician assistant training at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon, where she received her Doctorate of Medical Science. While in training, Danielle was awarded the Josiah Hill scholarship in recognition of her passion for serving and giving back to her community. She also completed the AHEC Scholars program, which focused on providing services to rural and urban underserved communities.

Dr. Cologne earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in Urbana, Illinois. He then received his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his postgraduate training with a sleep fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a psychiatry residency at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University Consortium in St. Louis, Missouri.
