Dr. Lyons was recognized by the Gold Humanism Honor Society for outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills. Upon graduation, he returned to his hometown and completed his family medicine residency at Abington Jefferson Hospital.
The son of a family physician, Dr. Lyons' interest in medicine developed at a young age as he watched the special relationship between his father and his patients. After completing his residency, Dr. Lyons realized one of his professional aspirations by joining his father, Michael Lyons, MD, in clinical practice and forming Lyons Family Medicine.
