As a life long resident of Genesee County, my roots run very deep. Ever since I began practicing medicine it has been my goal to treat patients like family and this is the very reason that I established Hometown Family Medicine and Urgent Care. I have worked in Genesee County for over 20 years in emergency medicine, urgent care and family practice, and I possess a strong skill set and knowledge base that allows me to treat everyone. I attended Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and have completed a residency in Family Medicine. I also completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona.
I am board certified in Family Medicine as well as Integrative Medicine.
I am a ReCODE Bredesen practitioner and completed the Functional Medicine Fellowship through Parsley Health
Beth earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan-Flint, and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit-Mercy. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Beth worked for 13 years in a variety of nursing roles including critical care, labor & delivery, home care, and catastrophic case management. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society. She is a certified case manager and ANCC board certified. Beth enjoys family medicine because she is passionate about promoting health strategies that holistically optimize her patients’ health and well-being. Beth’s special interests include women’s health issues and spinal cord injury medicine. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, hiking, watching baseball, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
