I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 5 years. As a family nurse practitioner, I have been trained to treat people of all ages. That means I can assess, diagnose and treat the majority of conditions that present to the clinic. I also know that patients with complex conditions sometimes need to see a physician or a specialist. I began my nursing career 16 years ago as an LPN, where I worked in hospitals, nursing home and home care. I have experience in Quality Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Affairs and academia. Dr. Mendez has over thirteen years of experience in general dermatology and specializes in Mohs surgery.
