Karem Colindres, DO comes to Grayhawk with over 10 years of experience in a combination of Pediatric Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine and Emergency Medicine. A United States Army Veteran, she graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, making the National Dean List. Dr. Colindres belongs to several professional organizations including the American Academy of Lifestyle Medicine, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and many more, giving her a broad spectrum of expertise.

Musculoskeletal medicine is a strong component and foundation to osteopathic medicine. Dr. Colindres says that with her background in emergency medicine and my osteopathic medical training, she carries with her a strong foundation in both realms of medicine treating the patient as a whole person in body, mind, and spirit.

Additionally, Dr. Colindres is DOT certified, AZ POST certified and certified in Aesthetic Medicine, bringing a versatile skillset to her patients. Biography of Ngozi Azode, MSN, FNP-C Ngozi Azode, is a board-certified family Nurse practitioner with the American Association of Nurse practitioners (AANP). She obtained her MSN from Walden University in 2014. She has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, within those years, she has worked as a nurse practitioner for over 5 years. Ngozi has worked across the board, she worked in pulmonary medical surgical floor at Banner University Medical center for 9-10 years before she moved to her new role. She currently works in an urgent care where she provides care to pediatrics to the elderly with different health problems which varies from acute to chronic. Ngozi is compassionate, humble, kind, emphatic, and a good listener. She believes strongly that patients should be involved in the decision making about their health. Nancy Ashby, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner. She provides compassionate and holistic care to patients at Kingdom Wellness and Family Health, PLLC, located in Phoenix, Arizona. 

In 2012, she earned her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in nursing from Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona. A year later, she received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.

After working in the healthcare system and recognizing its pitfalls, and wanting to make a change for the better, Nancy returned to school once again to earn her master's degree from Grand Canyon University in 2018. 

Nancy started her career as a home health aid in 2007. From there, she turned to inpatient hospital care, beginning as a nursing assistant on a medical-surgical unit. 

As a registered nurse, she has worked in cardiac care, procedural and surgical, and endoscopy units at several hospitals. As a nurse practitioner, Nancy has had the opportunity to work in family practice, occupational health, orthopedics, and integrative health and explore the exciting world of regenerative medicine. 

She is an Arizona native and loves the outdoors and the heat. She also loves to travel and explore new places. Nancy has a wonderful, supportive husband of 15 years and three very active children ranging from 10 to 14 years. She is very active in her church and ministry.

Pam Schillar, a highly experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) relocated to Cave
Creek, AZ from Sandpoint, ID, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to
providing exceptional anesthesia care.

Pam grew up on a wheat farm in Ritzville, WA, a small community in Eastern Washington. She earned
her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Eastern Washington University in May 1981 and began her career
as an RN at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA, initially working on a surgical floor. Pam later
transitioned to the Cardio-thoracic ICU, where she specialized in recovering heart and lung patients.
During this time, she had the opportunity to work closely with CRNAs who specialized in heart and lung
anesthesia, sparking her interest in furthering her education in this field.

In January 1991, Pam joined the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer. After two years in
the Medical ICU, she was accepted into the USAF CRNA program. The Air Force sent Pam to the
University of Texas Health Science Center, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing with a
focus on anesthesia in 1996. Pam has been board certified since October 1996, and over the years, she
has gained extensive experience providing anesthesia services to patients of all ages in a variety of
settings.

For the past 19 years, Pam worked at Bonner General Hospital, a critical access hospital in Sandpoint, ID,
where she provided anesthesia care in a busy surgical services department. Pam enjoyed serving a tight-
knit community, caring for multiple generations of families. However, after years of long winters, Pam
decided to relocate to the Valley, a place she has always loved.

Pam is excited about the opportunities for both personal and professional growth in Arizona. In her free
time, she enjoys golfing, hiking, and taking in the breathtaking desert landscapes and sunsets. She also

Carla is an enthusiastic Board Certified Physician Assistant who works closely with Dr. Bashir. Carla is an Arizona native and completed her undergraduate education, locally, at the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She developed a strong interest in cardiology during PA school and is enthusiastic about learning all there is in cardiac care. In her free time, Carla enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and skiing.
