Board-certified primary care physician Mrinalini Kodumagulla, MD, of Wake Family Medicine, is experienced in treating adults, children, adolescents, and seniors. Her empathy, dedication, honesty, and compassion make her unique and help her take care of all her patients’ primary care needs at her office in Cary, North Carolina.
In 1991, Dr. Kodumagulla earned her bachelor’s degree in medicine and science from Sri Venkateswara Medical University in Tirupati, India. She then went on to complete her family medicine residency at Mercy Health Partners in Toledo, Ohio. In 2008, Dr. Kodumagulla became board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. To better serve her patients, Dr. Kodumagulla also holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
From 2005-2008, Dr. Kodumagulla was a resident physician at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. During her time there, she evaluated and treated patients in the emergency department and participated in all teaching conferences. The following year, she worked as a family physician at Tri-County Community Health Center (now known as CommWell Health) in Newton Grove, North Carolina, where she provided and managed direct patient care, trained and supervised medical students, and managed the daily operations of the patient care unit.
Since 2009, Dr. Kodumagulla has worked as a family physician at Wake Family Medicine, offering patients of all ages routine health care, including annual and school physicals, and executive health physicals. She also provides chronic health and acute care management for medical problems like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and COPD. In addition, she is a designated civil surgeon for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services through the Department of Homeland Security, making her fully qualified to perform immigration medical examinations.
In conjunction with her medical practice experience, Dr. Kodumagulla also actively participates in clinical research. She has worked as a research assistant in the fields of hematology, oncology, and sickle cell at Duke University Medical Center, and she currently conducts clinical research on hypertension and diabetes.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Noah moved to the Raleigh area shortly before attending high school. He attended Averett University in Danville, Virginia, as a collegiate athlete. Noah played on the Averett Cougars’ baseball team for four years while earning his bachelor’s in psychology.
Following his undergraduate studies, Noah pursued his passion for healthcare by attending Methodist University’s Physician Assistant Program in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He graduated with a master’s in Medical Science.
Noah worked at PDG Medical in Cary, North Carolina, as a physician assistant and business administrator, before joining the Select Family Practice team. When not treating patients, Noah enjoys spending time with his two dogs and playing golf. He looks forward to welcoming new and returning patients to the practice.
Susan Horlick, MHS, PA-C, is a physician assistant at Select Family Practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. Susan has over 27 years of experience in urgent care and family medicine and uses her extensive knowledge to provide expert opinions and care to her patients. She forms close relationships with her patients to give them attentive, personalized care at every appointment.
In 1986, Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in clinical nutrition at Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. A few years later, she attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, to complete the highly regarded physician assistant program. She also completed her master’s degree in health sciences at Duke University.
Susan remains active in several professional organizations that allow her to bring new knowledge and skills to her patients at Select Family Practice. She’s currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Triangle Area Physician Assistants.
In addition to her years of clinical experience, Susan has been an adjunct professor at her alma mater, Duke University, as well as Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. She uses her speaking and educational skills to help her patients understand their health and their treatments. At Select Family Practice, Susan helps treat acne, chronic illnesses, minor wounds, cold and flu, allergies, and more.
Sallie Corse, PA-C is a Triangle area native. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. She then went on to complete a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. In 2016, she began her career in emergency medicine where she learned to effectively care for patients of all ages and treat various patient concerns. In addition to working in the ER, she also has experience in surgical oncology as well as weight loss medicine. However, after realizing her passion for building a lasting connection with patients, she chose to redirect her career to primary care where she can have a deep-rooted impact on a patient's health. She loves being an advocate for her patient's and working with them to reach their goals as well as live a healthy lifestyle. Sallie is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and is actively involved in her church. When not working, Sallie enjoys being outdoors, training for her next triathlon, cooking, and spending time with her husband, son, and dog.

Lauren Williams, PA-C, is an exceptional physician assistant at Select Family Practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. She helps new and returning patients in and around Raleigh achieve their wellness and personal health goals.
Lauren completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Her degree speaks to her personal passion, as she earned a bachelor's in exercise and sports science. Lauren even worked as an exercise specialist for eight years before pursuing her graduate education.
Seeing the exceptional benefit exercise has on a person's wellbeing, Lauren attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to contribute to this movement and complete her physician assistant training. Shortly after completing the program, Lauren joined the Select Family Practice team, where she offers both urgent care and primary care services.
Outside of the practice, Lauren works in interventional pain management throughout North Carolina. She enjoys being very active during her free time, and enjoys doing CrossFit, running, and yoga.
Mr. Reza Hatefi, PA-C, is a compassionate and experienced physician’s assistant who is fluent in Spanish and Farsi and has been serving patients in and around Raleigh, North Carolina, since 2000. At Select Family Practice, Mr. Hatefi provides attentive, personalized care, taking time to listen to his patients, helping them to improve their overall health and well-being with expert clinical care and lifestyle-management advice.
Mr. Hatefi earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his physician’s assistant training and bachelor’s degree in health science at Methodist College (now Methodist University) in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He’s a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants.
Mr. Hatefi provides a comprehensive range of services for patients of all ages, including wellness exams and DOT physicals, pediatric care, sick visits, X-rays, minor surgeries, and acne treatments. Russell Harrell MD--- I was born in eastern N.C and spent most of my early years there. I attended medical school at UNC-CH ,graduating in 1981. My residency was in Family Medicine at USC in Columbia ,South Carolina. I began private practice in Durham ,N.C. in 1984. I have practiced Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care since 1990. My desire to return to family practice is due in part to a desire to be involved in preventive medicine after many years seeing the effects of chronic diseases that have not been treated.I look forward to seeing current patients at Select Family Practice and growing this practice to better serve the community.
