Dr. Tâm Cung's home has always been the DFW area since he was 4-years-old, when his parents immigrated to America as political refugees to escape communist Vietnam. “Started the weight loss plan with Dr. Shepherd last time that I went to see him. This time I waited 30 minutes, and met with a nurse practitioner student that was very helpful. Then, when the nurse practitioner came in she was very short with me and refused to prescribe me anything even though the weight loss plan called for it and I hadn’t met my goal. She moved to the United States and completed her family medicine training at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York City, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College.
