Aaron Maloy is a family nurse practitioner who provides extended primary care services. In his role as a primary care provider, Mr. Maloy treats common chronic health conditions like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma and COPD. He also provides sick visits for a variety of common acute illnesses, such as upper and lower respiratory tract infections, musculoskeletal pain, urinary tract infections, rashes and gastrointestinal symptoms. We would like to welcome Dr. April Kavanagh, MD, MPH to the Arlington Family Practice team! Dr. Kavanagh completed her Masters in Public Health at the University of Texas & her Medical Degree at Texas A&M University. She started her trek north for her Family Medicine Residency training at the University of Virginia and stayed for an additional year to help start a cancer survivor-ship clinic. Dr. Kavanagh is passionate about disease prevention, nutrition, & taking a holistic and individualized approach to patient care. She loves seeing and caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds, but has special interest in caring for cancer survivors and aiding in cancer prevention. A Massachusetts native, April grew up on the North Shore rowing boats, and hunting for crabs and periwinkles. She is excited to finally be back home close to family, and looks forward to building and becoming part of the Arlington community!

Nan Meguerian graduated with a BS in Biology in 1996 from Villanova University, located in Villanova, PA. In 1999, she went on to obtain a Masters in Science in Physician Assistant Studies at DeSales University in Allentown, PA. Nan moved to MA in 1999 after getting married and in 2000 she began her PA career in Waltham at the Walk-In and Primary Care center which served as an urgent care/internal medicine clinic to Waltham and surrounding city residents. She enjoyed the continuity of care that this facility allowed. She worked here until 2002, until she decided to take some time off to start a family and is now the mother of 2 beautiful girls. The love for her profession could not be ignored and she happily went back to work part-time in 2009 where she worked at Bolton Family Medicine until July 2012. Here she was able to focus more on her love of pediatrics and women's health, while still treating chronic conditions. Nan joined our practice this July of 2012 and has been a delight. She is kind, caring, compassionate, and a diligent provider. Her outside interests include hiking, her absolute love of reading, listening to 80s music, baking, and trying to spend as much time with family and friends. 

Dr. Ann Morvai at Arlington Family Practice in Arlington, Massachusetts, has over 25 years of experience in the field of family medicine, offering her patients preventive and diagnostic care, including the particular needs related to both men and women’s health.

Dr. Morvai received her bachelor’s degree and President's award for honors in Biochemistry from Ohio State University. She continued to get her medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Morvai completed her residency at St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Teri Ciccone, M.D. lends his leadership as a board certified physician to the aesthetic practice of Renew Aesthetic Medicine and Wellness, located in Southborough, Massachusetts. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.   He completed his residency in the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  Dr. Ciccone has vast experience as an emergency medicine physician, working as an attending physician in a busy emergency department as well serving as Medical Director of two high volume urgent care clinics.

Dr. Khyati Patel, MD, is a highly skilled and compassionate primary care and aesthetic medicine provider at RI Rheumatology in Cranston, Rhode Island. Laura earned her Masters of Science in Nursing Practice from George Mason University and specializes in Family Practice. Prior to her board certification she worked in dermatology and pediatrics, with a focus on health promotion for the underserved populations within the community. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Pace University and a Bachelor of Music from Syracuse University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, husband, two sons, dog and two cats. Laura is accepting new patients 7 years old and up.

Vannessa Davis, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a dual, board-certified, doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner in family medicine and psychiatry. At Bethany Health Services in Salem, New Hampshire, Dr. Davis specializes in primary care, psychiatric care, and nephrology services for adults and children four and over.

Dr. Davis earned her master’s degree in family medicine from the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association.

With a passion for medicine, Dr. Davis remains focused on delivering high-quality patient care. Her extensive knowledge in managing acute and chronic physical and mental health conditions allows her to help patients make empowered decisions about their health.

Dr. Davis has a special interest in educating people about chronic disease prevention. She works with patients of all ages to lower their risk factors for catastrophic events resulting from unmanaged diabetes, hypertension, and mental illness.

Dr. Muhammad Bajwa is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts. He strives to provide compassionate patient care in a comprehensive and effective way.

Dr. Bajwa spent 3 years in Harvard-associated hospitals (Mass General Hospital, Joslin Diabetes Center, and Beth Israel Medical Center) doing clinical research in Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes. He obtained his Research Fellowship from Joslin Diabetes Center, Boston MA in 2011.

He continued his career with internal medicine training at Good Samaritan Hospital, University of Cincinnati, OH. He completed his residency in 2015 and moved to Rhode Island Hospital as a teaching attending in the Department of Medicine at Brown University.

Suruchi Kaul, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine and nephrology specialist at Norwood Medical Associates in Norwood, Massachusetts. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and highly trained in primary care. 

Dr. Kaul has been practicing medicine in Norwood since 2008, after moving to the area from Minnesota. She specializes in treating kidney diseases, particularly in managing chronic kidney disease due to hypertension and diabetes. 

She earned her medical degree at Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University, in India. Dr. Kaul completed residencies at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri; the University of Minnesota VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota; and the University College of Medical Sciences Delhi University in Delhi, India.

Dr. Kaul also completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and in immunology and uveitis at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She’s a member of the American College of Physicians, National Kidney Foundation, American Society of Nephrology, and Delhi Ophthalmological Society. During her residency, Dr. Kaul developed an interest in further studying kidney disease. 

She enjoys educating patients about disease complications to reduce their risk of experiencing severe medical problems. Dr. Kaul feels privileged to help her patients understand and gain control of their health and well-being.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and being involved in the PTO at her children’s school. She helps with various educational activities, including the Understanding Our Differences program, and volunteers at a local library.

Savitha Gowda, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist at Norwood Medical Associates in Norwood, Massachusetts. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has decades of experience. 

Dr. Gowda has been practicing medicine in Norwood since 1998. She was raised in a large family in India, growing up with many family members who suffered from diabetes complications. Her mother donated a kidney to her father, but he eventually succumbed to his illness. All of this influenced Dr. Gowda’s decision to practice medicine. 

She earned her medical degree at Bangalore University in India and completed a residency in internal medicine at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts, and St. Raphael Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. 

Dr. Gowda has been ranked a Top Doctor for the last 13 consecutive years. She also received the Boston Magazine Top Doctor Award, America’s Top Doctor Award, and Top Geriatrician.
