I have been practicing in Hernando County since 2018. I am truly 'Flo-grown' born and raised in Pinellas County. I was an athlete in my former life (tennis player, played D1 U.of Miami) My husband is a Physician with the Family Medicine Residency Oak Hill Hospital/Nature Coast Primary Care. We have two kids, two puppies. I practice conservatively and truly believe listening to your patient and coming up with a game plan together is the most efficient way to practice medicine.

Dr. Rey is board certified in Internal Medicine, he began private practice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, prior to moving to Florida in 1997. He has been appointed as well, as Medical Director in many settings including Nursing Homes, Rehabilitation and Post Hospital care Centers, as well as law enforcement agencies.
His passion for medicine and his desire to care and support our troops, found him joining on Active Duty, the US Air Force. Served as Lieutenant Colonel with the Medical Corps stationed at Macdill AFB during the Gulf War.
Dr. Rey has a special interest, as a Primary Care Physician, for our adult and senior population. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he has an approachable, caring demeanor, which helps ensure open communication with all his patients.
