Continuing care for the patients of Dr. James Logothetis
I am a Doctorally prepared nurse practitioner with a certification in family medicine. My path to a nursing career began when I was a high school student and I volunteered at a local community hospital. I discovered then the difference a positive human interaction can make in an otherwise traumatic situation.
Since then I have set out to make a difference in people’s lives by acting as an educator, advocate and practitioner to help optimize the health of my patients. Throughout my decade of experience, both as a registered nurse and as an advanced practice nurse, I have witnessed how a holistic approach can change a person’s life, and how optimism plays a pivotal role in the treatment of illnesses. I have worked in both the inpatient setting on hospital telemetry units and outpatient in internal medicine. The summation of all my experiences have helped mold my philosophy of care aimed towards treating all people in a holistic manner while empowering them and working alongside them to help achieve their goals.
