Wendy Sharp, FNP, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner serving patients throughout Cleveland and Humble, Texas. Ms. Sharp has been with the Calvary Medical Clinic team of providers since 2010, joining the practice and bringing with her over 16 years of education and training. Ms. Sharp boosts over 27 years of experience in the medical field.
Ms. Sharp obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Houston Baptist University and went on to earn her Master of Science in nursing from Texas Women’s University in Houston, Texas.
After beginning her medical career in the Home Healthcare field, Ms. Sharp furthered her work experience at two local Independent School Districts, where she cared for the acute medical incidents of children of all ages, as well as the adult staff and employees, under the title of director/district head nurse.

Dr. James Wells joined our elite team of providers in July 2023, bringing with him over 40 years of education, training, and experience.
After graduating with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Wells began practicing Family Medicine at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. He eventually moved to Selma Family Health Care, where he continued to practice Family Medicine, until he opened his own private practice, J. Darrick Wells MD, Inc., in 1996. Dr Wells continued to provide Family Medical Care for 22 years, before transitioning into the Urgent Care field of medicine.
Dr. Wells’ awards are numerous and extensive, including: the Richard D Steed Scholar Award, the All-Academic Award, the Associated Press Honorable-Mention, & Phi Beta Kappa. During his college years, he was the Team Captain for the Rice University Football team, he received the American Spirit award, the George R.
