Deirdre Fraller, DNP, ANP-C, PMHNP-BC, is the founder, CEO, and Clinical Director of Owl & Eagle Health and Wellness. Dr. Ashleigh Sartor, MD is a graduate of Swedish Medical Center Family Medicine Residency. Prior to moving to Denver for residency, she received her medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, and undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Biology from Hope College in Michigan. Dr. Sartor enjoys the opportunity that Family Medicine provides for forming therapeutic relationships with a large variety of patients. Dr. Sartor brings a broad scope of care to Altitude Internal Medicine and active in all aspects of medicine including Women’s Health and Pediatrics. Tana Smith, M.D. is an experienced board certified family physician with over 20 years of dedicated service in the field of medicine. As a Colorado native, she’s had the privilege of serving Colorado communities for more than two decades. Dr. Smith is an alumna of the University of Denver. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, followed by residency at St. Anthony Family Medicine Residency Program in Denver. Her experience spans various facets of family medicine, with a particular emphasis on fostering strong patient-physician partnerships and shared decision-making. Dr. Smith's approach to healthcare is grounded in the belief that effective treatment plans are best developed through collaborative efforts between physician and patient. She is passionate about getting to know her patients and working together to keep patients and their families healthy. As a Colorado native, Dr. Smith has called Littleton home for over 20 years.

Dr. Rebecca Nickell is an Osteopathic Physician who graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She learned to love Colorado while completing her residency at Southern Colorado Family Medicine in Pueblo, Colorado. She enjoys treating the whole person, using a whole body rather than a disease focused approach to health and wellness. Her interests include general family medicine, well women care, osteopathic manipulation, mental health, and assisting with weight loss. She loves taking care of whole families from young children to their grandparents. Dr Nickell grew up all over the South. After hearing about how her grandfather, a small-town family practice physician, really took care of his whole community, she knew it was her dream as well. When not practicing medicine, she loves spending time with her three daughters and extended family. She loves reading, live theater, sewing, and designing costumes for the whole family.

Dr. Sarah Mack is a Colorado Native who completed medical school at Rocky Vista University. She received her undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at University of Northern Colorado and a masters in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. She then completed residency with Durant Family Medicine in Oklahoma learning to care for a rural population and help an underserved population manage their health. Dr. Mack enjoys caring for whole families and providing thorough care through education and discussion of options. Dr. Mack enjoys spending time with her husband and family when she’s not practicing medicine. She enjoys being in the mountains as much as possible with hiking, camping, and off-roading with her husband. She enjoys cooking and baking for her loved ones and learning new techniques when she can.

I am a family nurse practitioner with vast experience in pediatrics, family medicine, addiction medicine and home health. I began my nursing career working in the pediatric unit at Duke University Hospital. I went on to earn my MSN degree with a focus of Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. After years of practicing family medicine in a rural health setting in North Carolina, I have started my own practice with the goal of improving access to healthcare for patients in rural Colorado. My patients appreciate the time I take with them to truly listen to their concerns and work together to determine the best treatment options. I am excited to improve access to healthcare for patients with same-day and next-day telemedicine appointments, sports physical clinics, as well as after-hours care and house calls.

Timothy Mazzola, MD, is triple board-certified in family medicine, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound. He practices as a non-operative orthopedic and regenerative medicine specialist at Breakthrough Regenerative Orthopedics in Boulder, Colorado. His enduring professional passion is to bring restoration, healing, and hope to those looking to return to the life they love and be the people they are called to be.  

Dr. Mazzola formerly worked as a non-operative orthopedic specialist at Cornerstone Orthopedics for eight years and was a United States Air Force Academy team physician. 

Passionate about teaching, Dr. Mazzola is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Colorado in Boulder, teaching family medicine residents. He is a national expert and highly sought-after physician educator who has taught musculoskeletal and sports ultrasound for many years at the Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute and Advanced US courses at the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine National Conferences.

As a leader in the field, he recently co-authored a chapter on using ultrasound-guided techniques in regenerative medicine procedures in one of the first textbooks on regenerative orthopedics, titled "Regenerative Treatments in Sports and Orthopedic Medicine," edited by Drs. Malanga and Ibrahim. 

Apart from his passion for bringing restoration and healing to those God sends his way, he is blessed to have recently celebrated 25 years of marriage to his heroic and amazingly compassionate bride. They have been blessed with two amazing sons, each gifted with strength, kindness, brilliance, and leadership. 

In his free time, you may find Dr. Mazzola cranking his bike up a trail, flowing down a mountain through powder, or, if he's lucky, riding great waves with good friends.

Mark Menich, MD, is an experienced physician at Denver Allergy & Asthma Associates in Boulder, Lakewood, Westminster, Denver, Littleton, and Arvada, Colorado. At the practice, he provides complete allergy and immunology consultations and management for patients of all ages. 

Dr. Menich earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and a doctoral degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He then completed his internal medicine residency and allergy and immunology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. 

Dr. Menich has board certifications from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dr. Menich is also a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and the Colorado Allergy and Asthma Society.

William “Bill” Newman, MD, is a general medicine and allergy and asthma specialist. He serves patients at Denver Allergy & Asthma Associates in Boulder, Lakewood, Westminster, Denver, Littleton, and Arvada, Colorado. 

Dr. Newman grew up in Dayton, Ohio, where he lived and breathed Reds baseball. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. While there, he worked in the immunology lab at the medical school, a position that sparked his interest in the field. 

He obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, on a U.S. Army scholarship. Dr. Newman completed his internal medicine residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado (now the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus). 

Dr. Newman spent the next four years as a staff internist at the U.S. Army Hospital in Heidelberg, Germany. He left military service in 1997 and joined the staff of the University of Vermont in Burlington, where he was also an assistant professor of medicine, teaching medical students and residents. 

After three years in primary care internal medicine, he sought specialty training and rejoined the Army to do so. He completed his allergy/immunology fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2002 and, from there, returned to Germany to become Chief of Allergy at the US Army Hospital in Würzburg, where he also functioned as chief of medicine. 

He left Germany and the Army in 2005 to launch a solo allergy/immunology practice in Vermont and spent the next 11 years as an established allergist in the Burlington, Vermont, area. 

When his son graduated from high school, he and his wife decided to make a bold change and return to Colorado. He joined Denver Allergy & Asthma and Associates in July 2016.

When not at work, Dr. Newman loves the wilderness and the mountains, camping, hiking, canoeing, and fishing whenever he can find the time. He is married and has a grown son who lives in Salt Lake City.

Heather Whiting is a native of Colorado and has been fortunate to serve the community as a physician assistant and patient care advocate since 2003.

She began her pursuit of a career in medicine at the University of Northern Colorado where she earned a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Human Biology. Upon graduation, Heather worked at the University of Colorado Hospital as a Rehab Therapy Technician. She later graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado with honors and earned a second Master’s degree, a Masters of Medical Science from Saint Francis University.

Heather is very passionate about medicine and believes in caring for the whole patient. She enjoys working side by side with patients striving to achieve optimal physical and emotional health. She is experienced in treating patients across a wide spectrum of disease states and ages, from adolescence to geriatrics. She has special interest in disease prevention and health promotion.

Heather loves spending time with her husband and two sons. They enjoy the beautiful Rocky Mountains, camping, hiking, biking, and snowboarding.

Dr. Analice Hoffenberg, or Dr. Ana, as she is usually tenderly called by her patients, is the Medical Director at Your Wellness Journey Center. She is Board-Certified in both Clinical General Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Hoffenberg is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and speaks fluently Portuguese, Spanish and English. She graduated from Medical School at the Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro, and had clinical training in Pediatrics, General Clinical Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine, and completed a Master in Science of Public Health, all at the University of Colorado. Dr. Ana is clinical faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, where she has acquired, over decades of practice, along with years of work in the private sector, extensive experience treating addicted patients with comorbid psychiatric conditions. She is excited to now open Your Wellness Journey Center, extending her tender loving care to her new patients here.
