Henry Moon, MD, brings over two decades of dedicated family medicine expertise to Reagan Medical Center, with offices in Lawrenceville, Dacula, Suwanee, and Johns Creek, Georgia, having served the Gwinnett County community since 1996. A proud Korean-American immigrant, Dr. Moon has deep roots in metro Atlanta since 1971.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech in Atlanta and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Dr. Moon completed his family medicine residency at Washington Hospital in Pennsylvania. Returning to Georgia in 1994, he began his medical practice in Cochran before relocating to Gwinnett County in 1996.
Certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Moon is committed to comprehensive care for families and individuals across all life stages. He advocates strongly for preventative health measures, promoting both longevity and quality of life.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Moon finds joy in traveling, fishing, and supporting local professional sports teams. He treasures time spent with his family and actively engages in community service through his local church.

I attended Clayton State University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies with a minor in Health Science. I continued my interest in nursing and graduated from Brookline College in Albuquerque, NM with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nurse Education and Leadership. While working in the Emergency Room, I completed an additional Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner.
I enjoy eating out, traveling and just having a good time. I am passionate about providing a personal touch, quality care, and ultimately, delivering an overall healthy experience.
Faye Vargas, MD, is a board-certified internist with more than 20 years of professional experience. Serving patients in the Greater Atlanta, Georgia, region for nearly a decade. Dr. Vargas currently works at Mariposa Medical Associates in Smyrna, Georgia.
Dr. Vargas graduated cum laude from an accelerated seven-year medical program at City University of New York City College, in New York City, with a Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences in 1997. She soon enrolled in New York University School of Medicine, graduating with her medical doctorate in 1999.
Since graduating from medical school, Dr. Vargas has completed an internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. She completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, through Harvard Medical School, where she also served as a clinical fellow.
Dr. Vargas is trained in all aspects of internal medicine and primary care, including but not limited to the diagnosis and management of chronic conditions like hypertension and diabetes. She emphasizes the importance of preventive medicine and believes diet, exercise, and certain lifestyle changes can have a significant effect on a patient’s overall health and sense of well-being.
When Dr. Vargas isn’t working with patients, she enjoys cooking, listening to music, traveling, exercising, and spending time with her two sons.
Dr. Angella Samuels received her doctorate degree at The University of Alabama. She is a dedicated family nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of clinical experience and her extensive background in family medicine makes her knowledgeable in all aspects of overall health management. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia, and the American Academy of Home Care Medicine.
