Born and raised in Port Huron, I am married with three children. My philosophy in medicine is to help patients help themselves. I can provide my advice, but it is up to the patient to follow this plan. I prefer preventative medicine and early treatment of disease to prevent problems later. Easy to understand explanations regarding disease and treatment are provided. I aspire to stay on time during the day, however I spend the time needed to address the issues. Some days, this may not be an issue, but other days it may cause some delay. Typically, patients know that if I am running late, it is because I am spending the time needed. They also feel comfortable knowing that I will do the same for them if the time comes.

Amy Beyer grew up in Fluvanna County and went away to college at Liberty University. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science in Nursing she came back to Fluvanna and married her husband Stephen Beyer, another lifelong Fluco.
