Jenika Errato, FNP-BC, CT (ASCP), is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Global Family Medicine and Urgent Care in Bluffton, South Carolina. Jenika has specialized certification as a family nurse practitioner, and is also highly experienced in both urgent care and primary care.

Jenika earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and nursing from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She obtained a master’s degree in cytopathology and is both licensed and certified in the field. This certification allows Jenika to examine tissues on a cellular level to help diagnose certain diseases.

At Global Family Medicine and Urgent Care, Jenika holds a broad range of responsibilities. She provides acute care for illnesses like strep throat, UTIs, and the flu, as well as for minor injuries. 

Jenika also cares for patients with vitamin deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and chronic illnesses like high blood pressure and heart disease.

Thomas Sulkowski, MD, brings nearly three decades of experience in family medicine to Sulkowski Family Medicine in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is not only board-certified in family medicine, but he also specializes in advanced laser technologies to enhance your appearance — so you look and feel the way you’ve always wanted.

Dr. Sulkowski earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, where he also completed a residency at Chesterfield Family Practice. He holds an undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and earned a Master of Education in athletic training from the University of Virginia.

Known as a caring doctor who puts patients first, Dr. Sulkowski practiced family medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Savannah, Georgia, before settling in Murfreesboro. He and his family have called the community home since 1998. He is certified in family medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Sulkowski’s career includes five years as an athletic trainer to collegiate and professional athletes, and to competitors at Olympic festivals. Now, he brings that know-how to the treatment of sports-related injuries. He takes pride in listening to his patients’ concerns and considers each person who walks through the door a member of the family.

Cara Barlis, MD, is a primary care physician who is board certified in family medicine. She currently sees patients at Princeton Sports and Family Medicine, P.C., in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. 

She was raised in Toronto, Canada, and graduated from Queen’s University Medical School. She completed her family practice residency at the University of Toronto.  

Dr. Barlis evaluates and treats patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Her patients range in age from adolescence to the elderly, and she enjoys seeing multiple generations of family members. She also offers women’s health care, including contraception, routine gynecology, menopausal concerns, and osteoporosis management.   

Dr. Barlis also works as a collaborative physician at The College of New Jersey Student Health Services. She is responsible for the medical care of students who present to health services with medical illness, sports injuries, women’s and men’s health concerns, and preventive needs.  She also serves as a consulting physician to The Hun School of Princeton, and in the past, has provided medical services at Hamilton Township Health Department sexually transmitted disease clinics. 

For a number of years, Dr. Barlis has been privileged to be part of a medical mission team, providing care to underserved populations in Guatemala.  

Dr. Barlis recognizes that mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing are interrelated.  She truly believes in a patient-centered approach to family medicine and strives to partner with her patients with the goal of preventing disease and achieving lifelong wellness.

Barbara Kiersz-Mueller, D.O., is a board-certified family physician who has specialized expertise in headaches, ADHD, sports injuries and child development. Dr. Kiersz Mueller treats patients at the Austin branch of THINK Neurology for Kids in Texas.

Dr Kiersz-Mueller was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved to Florida with her parents and siblings at the age of 15. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller majored in chemical biology for her undergraduate studies at Stevens Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science. After graduating in 2010, she enrolled at the Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her medical degree.

Dr. Kiersz-Mueller undertook her internship in family and osteopathic medicine at the Medical College of Georgia from 2014-2015, and completed her residency in family and community medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences San Antonio from 2015-2017, where she served as chief resident during her senior year. She joined THINK Neurology for Kids in 2020. Dr. Kiersz-Mueller holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine.

When she is not devoting her time to young patients, Dr. Kiersz-Mueller takes great pleasure in spending time with her husband and hiking and paddle-boarding with their Dachshund. In December, 2019, Dr Kiersz Mueller became a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, which she hopes to someday integrate with her practice in order to promote self-confidence and strength in her patients.

 

Margarita Armas believes in developing strong relationships, in order to provide personalize care, tailored to meet each patient’s specific needs. By utilizing an advanced array of testing and holistic thinking together she can help optimize your health. She enjoyed 10 years of emergency and critical care at the bedside for Mount Sinai Medical Center. She has had the privilege to work alongside South Florida’s top physicians. Including top Internist, Cardiologist and Infectious Disease specialist. With over 15 years’ experience both in the emergency room and private practice, treating patients of all ages makes her knowledge widely based. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level in order to build strong relationships. She received her Master’s degree from Keiser University as well as many certifications in Anti-Aging medicine. She has a passion for helping people by increasing her knowledge continuously and educating herself on innovative medical treatments.

Vijayalakshmi Vaddireddy, MD

 

Dr. Vijayalakshmi Vaddireddy, also known as "Dr. V", is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician and has been in practice for over 20 years. She completed her medical education at Christian Medical College located in Vellore, India in 1995. After practicing medicine in India for 5 years, she moved to the United States and completed her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center located in Odessa, TX in 2008. She moved to Georgia in 2010 and previously worked in Cumming, GA before joining our practice in 2022.

Dr. V will be seeing all in-office patients.

Karen Taylor, MD, FACOG, is a skilled and compassionate gynecologist located in Newport Beach, CA who is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art, patient-centered gynecological care for women of all ages. At her practice next to Fashion Island, Dr. Taylor provides patients with an array of treatment options and medical services including well woman exams, birth control counseling, and treatment options including IUD placement, STD testing, hormone replacement therapy, treatment for menopause issues, diagnosis and management of pelvic pain, depression treatment, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) therapy, and in-office evaluations and procedures including colposcopy and hysteroscopy. In addition, she’s a leading provider of adolescent gynecology care, helping teens and even preteens  understand their bodies and their health so they can feel more confident and empowered.

Diego Allende, DO, is the owner and founder of The Allende Centre for Regenerative Medicine & Vitality in Fresno, California. He specializes in intergrated medicine and has a board certification in family medicine and a degree in osteopathic medicine.

Dr. Allende was born in Argentina and moved to the San Francisco area with his family as a child. He and his brothers often worked in the family’s auto-body shop, which he credits for his value of hard work. When he began college at San Jose State University in San Jose, California, he continued to work full time while earning his bachelor’s degree in psychology.

After earning his degree, Dr. Allende moved across the country to attend medical school in New York. After a year, he moved back to California to earn his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. He then completed his internship and residency at the San Francisco campus of the University of California. 

When he isn’t teaching his patients how to improve their lifestyles with healthy habits or administering cutting-edge regenerative treatments, Dr. Allende loves to spend his time traveling with his wife, Amira, and visiting friends and family. He adheres to a dedicated regimen of weight training, a nutritious diet, outdoor exercise, and relaxation.

Joshua Kroll, DO, MS, is a board-certified family medicine physician at Thirlby Clinic, PLC, in Traverse City, Michigan. He is proud to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to his patients.

Dr. Kroll earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. He then received his Master of Science in biology from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant and worked as a research associate and clinical research coordinator in the Department of Surgery at Harper University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Afterward, Dr. Kroll completed his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing in 2018.

Dr. Kroll is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Kroll enjoys participating in outdoor sports with his wife and Lab, learning about American and European history, and tinkering in his home and garage.

I graduated from Midwestern State University and completed a Master of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. Then began my healthcare career as a Registered Nurse, working in case management, postpartum care, and as a PICC nurse. I have previous experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an urgent care setting. I am passionate about providing quality health care and creating open lines of communication between my patients and all members of their care teams. I am a Wise County native and enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, attending church, gardening, and cooking.

Dr. Bastani is a Licensed Family Medicine specialist in the state of Illinois. He graduated from Rush Medical School and received his residency training at the Northwestern University-St. Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Program where he also served as chief resident. In addition, he completed an externship in Family Therapy at the Family Institute of Chicago, a Northwestern University affiliate. In addition to 25 plus years as a faculty member of one of Chicago’s leading Family Medicine residency programs, he has worked as a private physician in an ethnically diverse neighborhood of the city since the 1990's. He has extensive experience in hospitalist medicine, and previously served as the Medical Director of an alternative health center focused on the care of AIDS patients. His areas of special interest and expertise include academic evidence based medicine, geriatrics, complex medical cases as well as general family and preventive medicine.
