Afshin David Rahimi, MD, FAAD, is the board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon at Westlake Laser and Aesthetics, serving both Los Angeles and Ventura Counties in the neighborhood of Westlake Village, California. Dr. Rahimi takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on each patient’s skin care needs and aesthetic goals, and developing personalized treatment plans that create effective, yet discrete results.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Rahimi went on to complete his internship at the University of California at San Diego. He then traveled back to the East Coast to complete his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
Dr. Rahimi is board-certified by the American Academy of Dermatology, a diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He holds a California state medical license.

Dr Rahimi takes his time and explains any issues he may find with real and caring concern. over the years I have had Dr Rahimi do general skin exams and also some lazer procedures and would recommend him as one of the best Dermatologist in the Conejo valley.
Cannot say more positive things about Dr Rahimi and the staff. The doctor is extremely skilled, very nice, genuinely cares and he gave me his cell phone for any issues. I worked 100% with him from beginning diagnosis to end, he performed the procedure himself. Also he worked very closely with me with what is needed and what is not needed. I had a chin lipo triplex yesterday, I felt nothing during the procedure and some pain last night and today. Today at the post op consultation I saw the results, first look was great and no bruising. Very happy with Dr Rahimi’s practice, I will be coming back for IPL. This is the beginning of a long term relationship with a doctor a respect and trust.
