After graduating, Dr. Greene received his residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Michigan. While there, his research led to the discovery of a novel hearing loss gene (locus), DFNA-25, and that work is published in the 2001 edition of the American Journal of Human Genetics.

Dr. Mixson began his undergraduate education at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, earning his Bachelor of Science in biology and graduating Cum Laude with honors. He then enrolled at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, earning his Doctorate of Medicine. 

After graduation, Dr. Mixson remained in Augusta and completed an ENT residency at The Medical College of Georgia. In 2006, he completed training and moved to Athens to join the team at ENT of Athens.

After a General Surgery Internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital, he remained at UT-Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital to complete a total of six years of research and Otolaryngology training in 2003. Dr. Ratcliff returned home to Austin in 2007 after several years of private practice in Santa Fe, NM. His medical research has been selected for publication as well as presentation at national meetings. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.

Robert Schmidt, MD, is a double-board certified surgeon and the founder of West End Facial Plastic Surgery in Richmond, Virginia. He specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck and is proud to share his skills and expertise with individuals living in the Greater Richmond Region. 

A Delaware native, Dr. Schmidt received his undergraduate training in psychology at Duke University, graduating with honors. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Fiyin Sokoya, MD, is a fellowship-trained, double board certified head and neck oncologic and facial plastic surgeon located in the Atlanta, GA area who has extensive training in all extirpative, reconstructive, and cosmetic procedures of the head, face, and neck. Dr. Sokoya provides expert care to patients throughout the Atlanta, GA area.

Dr. Sokoya graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He then completed his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, graduating with distinction. He continued his medical training with an internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head/Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Sokoya was then selected out of a competitive pool of applicants to complete a fellowship with Dr. Yadro Ducic at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, which emphasized all aspects of head and neck oncology and facial plastic surgery including free tissue transfer.
