Patrick Reed earned his certification to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) after graduating from the University of Washington PA program in 2012. After living in Spokane for the last 16 years, he was fortunate to be able to stay in the local area after graduating. He has been active in several areas of medical care including with older adults with complex heart disease, people with multiple medical disorders in internal medicine and family medicine, and most recently with kids, teens, and young adults with diabetes.
Patrick grew up in Kennewick, Washington, attended the UofI where he got a music degree in 2003 while finishing his pre-medicine classwork. Patrick has been involved in the diabetes camping community for over 25 years in the Spokane and North Idaho area, time mostly counseling kids with diabetes, but also sitting on the board of directors for several years, as a program director for Camp STIX, and as a counselor and on the staff of directors at Joslin Camp in Boston.

Michelle is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in the healthcare field since 1999. After becoming a practitioner, she combined her love for alternative, natural medicine with traditional medicine. Her specialties include bio identical hormone replacement, weight loss, autoimmunity, and more. She is passionate about patient education and believes that all patients should be in control of their healthcare decisions. She has successfully treated patients with a diverse range of health conditions that had not responded well to conventional medical treatments.
Michelle believes in the holistic approach to medicine, but understands the need for traditional medicine as well. Veena Watwe, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist and diabetes and metabolism physician at the Endocrine and Psychiatry Center in Houston, Texas. She specializes in endocrine, lipids, and thyroid conditions and is passionate about enabling patients to obtain optimal health.
Dr. Watwe began her education while living in India and earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at BJ Medical College Poona University in Pune, India. She then relocated to the United States to complete an internal medicine internship and residency at the University at Buffalo - Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Watwe also fulfilled an endocrinology and diabetes and metabolism fellowship at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.
A member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Dr. Watwe has also published articles in industry journals including Chest and the American Journal of Clinical Oncology.
