Dr. Glenn grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and began her collegiate pursuits at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, earning her Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in bioethics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving her master’s degree, Dr. Glenn earned her medical degree at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Dr. Glenn completed an extensive four-year emergency medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Glenn has since served at various medical facilities and hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and southern California. She’s board-certified in emergency medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (ABOEM). She holds basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Glenn enjoys spending time with her family. She co-founded and operates the urgent care and CQ Med Gym with her husband and is a mother of three young children under the age of 8. Her children were the inspiration for Cali Kids Urgent Care. Roy Akrakian, MD, is an outstanding orthopaedic specialist passionate about serving his community. An integral part of the team at Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Institute, Dr. Akarakian helps residents of Victorville, Pomona, and Barstow, California, find relief from various conditions affecting their bone, joint, and muscle health.
Dr. Akarakian began his studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and remained in the area for his residency and fellowship training.
Professional roles as an emergency medicine attending physician and a physician for soccer, baseball, and hockey teams provided different learning environments, expanding Dr. Akarakian’s understanding of sports medicine and orthopedics.
The author of multiple scholarly papers and a forthcoming book, Dr. Akarakian believes in remaining connected to the academic medical community. He also enjoys participating in conferences and workshops as a presenter or attendee.

Dr. Dawn Abriel focuses on addiction medicine by helping clients with opioid abuse at Bright Heart Health. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dr. Abriel using medication, such as Suboxone, combined with therapy to help clients recover from painkiller addiction. Dr. Abriel was residency trained, board certified in emergency medicine, and practiced 20 years before becoming a somatic psychotherapist.
