Daniel Trimberger II, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained sports medicine physician at Sports Medicine Oregon, located in Tigard and Wilsonville, Oregon. He has a special interest in injury prevention and management of soccer injuries, and injuries sustained while performing overhead throwing or hitting sports, dance medicine, and mixed martial arts. He believes in a team approach for managing his patients’ injuries, including the integration of traditional and complementary medicine techniques.

Dr. Trimberger earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder and his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison. He completed an emergency medicine residency at Strong Memorial Hospital through the University of Rochester in New York, where he remained for his fellowship training in sports medicine. 

He has additional training in screening athletes for sudden cardiac death and extensive experience in the evaluation of EKGs. I am the founder, owner and doctor at Santa Fe Mobile MD since we started it in 2019. I began this practice out of a desire to spend more time with patients. This allows us to have a better understanding of the problem rather than just ordering tests. The relationships that develop are the foundation upon which great care can be provided. Since completing my residency training in Emergency Medicine in Boston in 2007, I have worked in Chiapas, the Navajo Reservation in Northwest New Mexico, Santa Fe and New Zealand. Practicing medicine in different cultures and countries has taught me a lot about listening, about being humble and seeing these experiences in the context of life.
