Her passion for improving the lives of her clients provides her with a sincere ability to listen to her clients’ needs while offering them goal-oriented, personalized guidance, to help them understand where they are and what to do to get the outcomes they desire. She loves and thrives in translating the science into practical and implementable advice for her clients. With an understanding that health is a journey, her comprehensive plans address not only nutrition, but also stress, sleep, movement, and environment, and she provides ongoing support and education.
Additionally, as an avid fitness enthusiast and with a background in personal training, Avril can combine her skills to provide comprehensive wellness and weight loss programs. She is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and is highly committed to seeing her patients have long term success.
Jenni Grover is our Founder and Director of Nutrition. She has been working to improve health outcomes and increase awareness of nutrition and lifestyle medicine throughout her 13+ years of experience as a practicing RD. She is a certified practitioner of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and is trained in Integrative Nutrition and weight management.
Her goal is to empower Whole Health providers to create practical, individualized plans—developed in collaboration with the patient and their PCP—that work for each individual and their specific environment. That includes taking into account health needs, family dynamics, food preferences, cultural considerations, work schedules and more.
As the mother of two foodie kids, and with a carb-loving husband, she has worked hard to develop fun, engaging ways to encourage everyone to eat well and live a little healthier. She believes that our society needs to invest in strong, preventive health and nutrition programs for all.
For the past 13 years, Kait Atkinson (she/her) has been building relationships and improving the health of North Carolinians as a Registered Dietitian in various health care settings. Kait loves working alongside her patients while they pursue their health goals. She particularly enjoys diabetes prevention and reversal, as well as overall metabolic health.
Kait’s goal is to help her patients discover realistic strategies and behaviors that can be implemented into busy lives to significantly improve current and long term health. She believes that we can all find synergy when it comes to nutrition and personally adopts an “all foods fit” philosophy.
As an RD and toddler triplet mom, Kait understands all too well how your environment, family dynamics, and work schedules can impact your health and food choices. She has personally developed a powerful toolbox of strategies for improving health and she loves applying this real-world knowledge in her professional career.

As a Registered Dietitian, Emilie Riddle (she/her) is passionate about supporting her patients to live healthy, vibrant lives. She strives to help patients focus on long-term body positive outcomes: improved energy and emotional wellbeing, consistent engagement in physical activity, restorative sleep, healing their relationship with food, and increased confidence in their ability to fuel their body well and find balance in their lives. She especially enjoys working with patients to improve their metabolic health to prevent or improve the symptoms of diabetes and other chronic health issues. She is currently pursuing a credential as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Emilie works with patients to develop practical tools to overcome their individual challenges and set realistic goals. She strives to meet each patient where they are and provide a safe and supportive space to create lasting lifestyle change.
