Experienced board-certified dermatologist Derrick Adams, DO, FAOCD, FAAD, provides high-quality diagnostic and treatment services at his practice, Twelve Bridges Dermatology, located in Lincoln, California. Dr. Adams offers exceptional care for people with all kinds of skin disorders.
Dr. Adams grew up in Oklahoma and earned his bachelor’s degree in physiology at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and attended medical school at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa.
After graduation, he earned a commission in the United States Air Force, completing his internship in internal medicine at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium’s Wilford Hall Medical Center in Texas.
Dr. Adams served as Captain and General Medical Officer at the David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California. After his tour of duty, Dr. Adams spent three years at Michigan State University in Farmington Hills, MI, completing his residency in dermatology with a focus on dermatological surgery. He was certified by the American Academy of Dermatology as well as the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology.
Dr. Adams’s areas of interest include skin cancer and medical dermatology. He treats all skin diseases, including psoriasis, eczema, and autoimmune disorders, using an approach that considers every patient’s overall health and well-being.
Dr. Kepple graduated magna cum laude from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, receiving his bachelor’s in Physical Science. He received his M.D. degree from UC San Diego Medical School and completed his Family Medicine Residency through UC Davis Health. As a board certified family physician, he has enjoyed a broad spectrum practice including obstetrics and dermatology for over 20 years in Quincy, California. During these two decades, Dr. Kepple served as the Medical Director of the Rural Health Clinics at Plumas District Hospital. From 2014 to 2018 he served as the CEO of the hospital and clinics, ultimately leading the organization to a designation of a UC Davis Rural Center of Excellence.
He also serves as Medical Director of Frontline Medical Wildland Fire Team and cofounder of the annual Sierra Nevada Conservation and Wilderness Medicine Conference in Quincy. Dr. Kepple now focuses his clinical practice in dermatology. He enjoys mountain biking, backcountry snowboarding, backpacking, gardening, theatre, songwriting and sharing life’s many other God-given wonders with his wife Tracy.
For over 25 years, O. Jay On, PA, has treated patients for a variety of skin conditions and cosmetic preferences. He currently practices at Chico Dermatology in Chico, California, specializing in general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. Patients frequently come to him for sclerotherapy to treat their spider veins, Botox® wrinkle reduction, and facial contouring with name-brand dermal fillers like Juvederm™ and Restylane®.
O. Jay’s passion for health care is apparent in all that he does. Since graduating from Stanford University’s selective physician assistant program, O. Jay has served as a lecturer for Stanford’s physician assistant/nurse practitioner program on dermatological conditions. He even earned the Mary Em Wallace Teacher of the Year award from the school. He uses his renowned public speaking skills for guest lectures across the country, often speaking on behalf of pharmaceutical companies and medical providers.
In addition to live lectures, O. Jay is known for his webcast and classroom presentation for ninth and tenth grade students, “Live in Your Skin for a Lifetime,” about acne and proper skin care habits. He created the presentation on an unrestricted educational grant.
Today, O. Jay holds memberships with the Sacramento Valley Dermatologic Society, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the California Academy of Physician Assistants. Through these associations, he keeps up on the latest techniques and technologies in his field of practice.
At Chico Dermatology, O. Jay’s main priority is to give his patients healthy skin that they’re proud to show off. He teaches them to care for their skin outside of treatment and to find a new appreciation for their natural features.
