She then completed her graduate studies at South College where she received a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Upon graduation she became certified by the National Commission of Physician Assistants. Catherine is licensed in both Washington D.C. and the state of Virginia. She began her career in general and cosmetic dermatology in Ashburn and Warrenton, VA.
She takes pride in staying up to date on the latest advances in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is involved on both a local and national level with professional associations such as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Catherine is a patient advocate and strives to provide high-quality, personalized care for all her patients.
In her free time, Catherine enjoys running, travelling, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Gotsiridze is a board certified dermatologist. She enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology. She appreciates the importance of skin evaluation and disease detection, as skin conditions can frequently be the first sign of systemic diseases. She conducts very thorough skin examinations and enjoys skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. She understands how skin health can impact her patients’ self-esteem and quality of life and works hard alongside each of her patient to achieve their desired goals. She loves caring for all age groups. She is very passionate about educating her patients and strives to provide excellent patient care that is unique to each patient.
Dr. Gotsiridze received her bachelor’s degree in Biology and master’s degree in Molecular Biology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She obtained her medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo. She completed her internship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, and then received her dermatology training at Saint Louis University in Missouri. She has presented her research at national dermatology conferences in multiple occasions, and she practiced in Rochester, New York for four years prior to moving to Northern Virginia.
When she is not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys traveling, going to parks with her daughters, cooking and trying out new restaurants.
She is a fellow of American Academy of Dermatology and American Contact Dermatitis Society, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
