Ross Lane Pearlman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with dual fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology and Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery. He provides dermatology services to residents throughout the River North neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, at Medical Dermatology Associates of Chicago.
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Pearlman received his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Heersink School of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his medicine internship at the University of Colorado Anschutz in Denver, followed by a dermatology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson on their Rural Dermatology Track.
While in residency, he spent three months of each year caring for patients in rural Mississippi with a focus on skin cancer. After residency, Dr. Pearlman completed a combined fellowship at Northwestern Feinberg Department of Dermatology in Chicago in cosmetic dermatology (ASDS-certified) and Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MDSO).
Throughout his career, Dr. Pearlman has been dedicated to the scientific advancement of dermatology, quality improvement, and innovation in the field. He is the author of more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and five textbook chapters with a focus on photodermatology, skin cancer, and cosmetics.
Outside of the clinic, he is dedicated to innovation and problem-solving. In 2021, Dr. Pearlman was awarded the American Dermatological Association Resident Research Award, the highest honor bestowed on housestaff by the organization, for his work integrating dermatology's clinical data registry into Epic EHR.
Dr. Pearlman was recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) with an Excellence in Patient Care Award for Quality Improvement in Spring 2022; he was named one of five national Residents of Distinction by DermMentors. Outside of dermatology, Ross enjoys all outdoor activities, especially wilderness backpacking, flyfishing, and skiing.

Dr. Jerome Garden is a Board Certified cosmetic and laser dermatology specialist at Medical Dermatology Associates of Chicago. Since receiving his medical degree and dermatology training at Northwestern University Medical School, he has been involved in laser and related technology therapy and research, cosmetic dermatology, and patient care. He is currently a Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical School, and on staff both at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and The Children’s Memorial Hospital. Dr. Garden is the author of numerous articles and chapters in the field of lasers, and has contributed to the development of various laser and related technology systems, and to their application. In addition, Dr. Garden has been an ongoing reviewer of scientific articles for various medical journals. Dr. Garden is actively involved in the training of physicians in laser therapy and a frequent lecturer on these topics at national and international medical meetings.
Dr. Garden has been privileged to be placed multiple times on such lists as The Best Doctors in America, Top Doctors in America, and The Best Doctors in Chicago. He has also been featured in national magazines such as US News & World Report, Town and Country, and Self, in addition to serving as President of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Vivek Singam, M.D. is a dermatologist providing dermatology services at Dermio’s Munster location.
Dr. Singam is from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and attended a prestigious 6-year combined B.A./M.D. program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Between his fifth and sixth years, he then completed a dermatology research year exploring inflammatory skin disorders and skin cancer at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, achieving numerous publications. He completed his dermatology residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Singam’s clinical interests include the broad spectrum of medical dermatology conditions, in addition to pediatric and surgical dermatology.

Dr. Lauren Cerullo graduated with honors from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with a degree in art history and premedical studies. She went on to obtain her doctorate in medicine from Rush Medical College in Chicago, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society for academic achievement. During her medical school training she received numerous honors including the Janet M. Glasgow award for a female student graduating first in her class.
Dr. Lauren Cerullo completed a medical internship at Rush University and then completed her dermatology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was chosen to serve as chief resident. Throughout her years of dermatology training, she had the opportunity to work with leaders in the field, including a mentorship award to study at the University of Bologna in Italy. She has presented at numerous dermatology meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals. During residency, she was also active in teaching medical students and volunteering as medical staff at Camp Wonder, a summer camp for children with severe skin disease.
After graduating from residency, Dr. Lauren Cerullo moved to Indiana and worked for several years in private practice. She has taught medical students at the University of Notre Dame medical school and has mentored residents from local family practice residencies. Dr. Lauren Cerullo is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Indiana Academy of Dermatology and the Women's Dermatologic Society. Her clinical interests include a wide range of pediatric and adult conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer prevention and treatment.
