Dr. Shannon, originally from Massachusetts, resides in Newport Beach, California. She graduated from Georgetown University, Washington DC with a B.S.N. and continued her education at Georgetown Medical School, Washington, DC where she obtained her medical degree. After serving eight years in the Navy in San Diego, California, Dr. Shannon decided to go into private practice.
