Dr. Beschloss has a diverse background of service, and is committed to care centered around patients and their families. He focuses on partnerships and patient education to deliver the highest quality dermatology services. He’s skilled in all areas of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic.
A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Beschloss is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He received his medical degree at Cornell Medical College in 2005 after serving 10 years as an aviator in the United States Navy.
Dr. Beschloss subsequently continued his naval service as a flight surgeon completing tours in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. He went on to complete his Dermatology residency at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health in 2012.
Dr. Beschloss led restorative care efforts for wounded warriors as the head of dermatology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, using the latest dermatologic and laser technology to help active duty members, their families, and veterans with disfiguring scars and comprehensive dermatologic care.
Dr. Beschloss is currently on staff at Weill Cornell Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Valley Stream, and US Military Health Plan Mitchell Field Family Health Center. He’s been published in peer-reviewed journals and has served as an assistant professor of dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.
