Dr. Caroline Yeager was born at the Naval Hospital and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. She spent grades three to twelve at the Holton-Arms School, where she graduated as the ranking scholar (valedictorian) and as a National Merit Scholar. 

She then attended Princeton University in New Jersey, where she graduated summa cum laude and majored in classics with a certificate in medieval studies. At Princeton University, she received the Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence and the Classics Department’s Atkins Prize for best senior thesis. Dr. Caroline Yeager attended Duke Medical School in Durham, North Carolina. She continued to research chemotherapy-induced hair loss when she returned to Duke. 

She received her medical degree in 2011. While there, Dr. Caroline Yeager was awarded membership into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society for her outstanding scholarship as well as leadership. Josef Yeager, MD, FAAD, is an experienced board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Shady Grove Dermatology in Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Yeager has been practicing in Maryland since 1990. 

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his internship at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in South Carolina.

Amanda Derwae, MD, is one of the skilled dermatologists practicing at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, located in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Derwae spent most of her youth in a small town west of Charleston, West Virginia, before attending the University of Georgia for her undergraduate studies. There, she earned a degree in biology with a minor in mathematics and was UGA’s Air Force ROTC Distinguished Graduate in 2003. As a Second Lieutenant in the Air Force, she completed medical school at Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, followed by a Transitional Internship at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Her training accolades include Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, 2012 Association of Military Surgeons of the United States Award (most outstanding overall performance in academics and leadership by a medical student), and SAUSHEC’s John H. Born and raised in northern, New Jersey, Dr. Bembry's journey in medicine began with a strong academic foundation. Dr. Bembry earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where she developed a deep appreciation for the DMV area and serving its community.  

She finished her internship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. She then completed a clinical research fellowship in Contact Dermatitis at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC. During this time, she made significant contributions to the field by authoring and co-authoring several articles in renowned scientific journals. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she served as chief resident, showcasing her leadership and commitment to patient care.

Urvi Gonzales, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist skilled in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She offers expert care to patients at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Gonzales specializes in the detection and removal of skin cancers, the diagnosis and treatment of acne, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions, and the development of anti-aging strategies and treatments, including injectables and lasers.

She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge with a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology. Maham graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. During her undergraduate, she was awarded the Dean’s List and led medical mission trips to Panama and Nicaragua to build healthcare clinics for underserved communities. She also devoted four summers to researching at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. 

Maham spent the next year working as a medical assistant at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, where she developed her passion for skin care. She pursued her Master of Medical Science at Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. There, she completed a rigorous 25-month program, which included several clinical rotations in Boston.

Maham also completed two rotations here at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, where she further solidified her training. To finish her education, Maham completed a research project focusing on diet and acne, which she presented to the Tufts Medical community. 

Maham is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. During her free time, Maham enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her cat!

Rebecca Satoskar, MD, is an experienced board-certified dermatologist. She serves as the medical director at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Dr. Satoskar grew up in Minnesota alongside the Mississippi River. She graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class and went on to attend the University of Notre Dame in Indiana for her undergraduate work. There, she studied pre-med, completed an honors thesis in psychology, and graduated summa cum laude. 

She then attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Illinois, where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor signifying a lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service, which no more than 15% of all medical students achieve. Dr. Satoskar also received the American Medical Women’s Association Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation, which is awarded to women in the top 10% of the graduating class. 

Dr. Satoskar completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago in Illinois and her dermatology residency at the University of California — Los Angeles and the University of Chicago. After completing her training, Dr. Satoskar was in private practice and served on faculty at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.

Samantha Hancock, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax in Fairfax, Virginia. 

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Samantha attended Pennsylvania State University in Centre Country and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology/genetics. Around this time, she worked as direct support for adults with physical and mental disabilities in Northeast Philadelphia. 

After completing her undergraduate degree, Samantha attended Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, and graduated with a Master of Medical Science in physician assistant studies. 

Throughout her education, Samantha always held a special interest in the field of dermatology. In 2013, she decided to take the leap and follow her passion, leading her to join the Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax team.

Drawing on more than 25 years of medical experience Clement Banda, MD, RPhS, founder of MD Vein & Skin Specialists in Owen Brown and Columbia, Maryland, transformed his practice into a leading provider of minimally invasive vein and skin procedures. Dr. Dawn attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusets, for his undergraduate studies and received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. 

After his internship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, he completed his dermatology residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Then, he completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology.

After graduating, she began her career as a trauma intensive care nurse at the world-renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Meredith then attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, obtaining her master’s degree in nursing.

Meredith has attained a vast medical knowledge base throughout her many years of providing medical care in areas such as emergency medicine, trauma, orthopedics, and surgical intensive care.
