Brittney Irons, MSN, RN, FNP-C, DCNP is a family nurse practitioner at Idaho Skin Surgery Center, practicing out of our Fruitland, Idaho location. Having completed advanced education and clinical training in dermatology, Brittney is now a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP).
Brittney is originally from Minnesota. She moved to Idaho from Colorado after completing her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Colorado’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. Prior to earning her master’s degree, Brittney worked as a registered nurse in the inpatient acute care setting for seven years.
Mrs. Irons is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the Idaho Board of Nursing. She is an active member of the AANP and the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. Brittney’s interests include general medical dermatology, patient education, skin cancer screening and prevention, and dermatological surgery. She strongly believes in establishing caring relationships with her patients and strives to provide well-rounded, comprehensive care and education.

Dr. Daoud attended Emory University for his undergraduate studies and then attended the Florida International University College of Medicine as the recipient of a full-tuition, merit-based academic scholarship. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as a Junior Medical Student and graduated as Valedictorian of his medical school class in 2016.
After medical school, Dr. Daoud completed an Internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He then moved to Long Island, NY, to complete a residency in Dermatology at Stony Brook University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident of the Northport Veteran Affairs Medical Center. As a resident, Dr. Daoud also trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Skin Cancer Center, focusing on the detection and management of cutaneous malignancies such as melanoma.
Following residency, Dr. Daoud completed two fellowships: first, a Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery fellowship at the Johns Hopkins-affiliated Maryland, Laser, Skin, and Vein Institute. Here, he received advanced training in laser medicine and surgery, minimally invasive facial augmentation, and minimally invasive vein surgery. Thereafter, Dr. Daoud completed a second fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, training extensively in the surgical management and reconstructive surgery associated with cosmetically and functionally concerning skin cancers. She is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed with the Idaho State Board of Nursing. Prior to joining the dermatology field, she was a nurse for 13 years, working in skilled nursing as well as a local hospital system.

Steven Brooks, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Brooks Dermatology in Manhasset, New York. Kim Ross, MD is a board-certified dermatologist serving patients at Ross Dermatology at their locations in San Antonio, Seguin, and LaVernia, Texas. She graduated Summa Cum Laude (first in her class) from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, with a major in biology. She obtained her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, graduating at the top of her class. Afterward, Dr. Ross obtained the single dermatology residency position at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and served as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Ross is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Society, the Allergic Contact Dermatitis Society and the Texas Medical Association. She is the founder of Ross Dermatology Clinics, located in San Antonio, Seguin, and LaVernia. Her interests include surgical dermatology, skin cancer prevention/treatment and cosmetic dermatology. She was named the Best Dermatologist in San Antonio in 2022 and commits time to mentoring local residents as well as medical school students from Mexico and Spain.

Dr. Shannon, originally from Massachusetts, resides in Newport Beach, California. She graduated from Georgetown University, Washington DC with a B.S.N. and continued her education at Georgetown Medical School, Washington, DC where she obtained her medical degree. After serving eight years in the Navy in San Diego, California, Dr. Shannon decided to go into private practice. She is the founder of Coastline Dermatology Laser and Medical Center in Newport Beach, CA. Her sincere pride, passion and desire to be one of the best dermatologists possible resulted in the success of a 25+ year practice.
Dr. Shannon is an exceptionally gifted surgeon specializing in Mohs’ Surgery. She also loves the cosmetic side of dermatology and remains educated, trained and certified in all state of the art laser and cosmetic procedures available. Dr. Shannon spends most of her free time with her son and daughter, the loves of her life. She enjoys watching her daughter’s volleyball and basketball games and encouraging them to make education their priority!
