Dr. Farha Zibak received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry, after which she completed her General Dentistry residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Zibak was born and raised in Brooklyn. Her passion for dentistry started when she pursued her bachelor's degree in biology at Stern College for Women.
Dr. Zibak is always eager to learn and is involved in continuing education courses. She loves to care and attend to her patients with the ultimate respect, dignity, and care they deserve.
Dr. Lizette Castillo received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook - College of Dentistry. She is a Long Beach native, having graduated from Long Beach High School. She received a Bachelor's of Science from Stony Brook in Biology. She discovered her passion for dentistry when she was in college at Stony Brook, and started volunteering at Stony Brook Dental School. It was there that she saw the need for oral education and treatment. She also took on an internship in Temple Dental in summer of 2015 where she served inner city areas in North Philadelphia. There she was exposed to translating and helping patients with understanding their treatments. Before coming to Lasante Dental as a dentist, Dr. Castillo completed two years of residency at Jamaica Hospital- School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Castillo participated in the Stony Brook Outreach- South Dakota where she provided dental care for patients in need on an Indian reservation. She was part of a dental team that saw and treated patients that were mostly edentulous.
In addition to practicing, Dr. Castillo also enjoys serving the Fordham community with Fordham Community Church, the Hispanic Baptist Association of NY and NJ and serving in dental mission trips, she has already travelled Ecuador, Uruguay, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and trying out different foods.
